could we get some stats? Like, does it have a function or is it just plain eye-candy? It doesn't matter which one it is, it would just be nice to know.

Kind unrealistic. You cannot buy an in-ground pool, how would you get it to you house? The only pools that can be bought are inflatable (out of ground) pools. There is no such thing as a out of ground pool that is permanent that I know of. And also please BAT you own building instead of using maxis's.

they could use the pools to model exactly what it would look like. of course that would require a lot of extra time, resources and money just to give people "previews", even without the water...

I'd love to see a community pool. I bet it could be done very well, and even bring in some income, while having a park and landmark effect. Just a thought on pools.

Actually, I think lot could work if he changed it from selling pools, to being a property showing real-life samples of the various types of pools that this company could build at your house. So I have that slightly different opinion for the guys above on this.

Just a quick response to Lugnuts, they do actually have places like this all over the United States. Permanent above ground pools also are fairly common where I'm from. As far as the lot is concerned, the idea is a good one and the lot looks nice. No dependencies are a plus, but a growable lot with CS jobs would be a nice addition in the future for you.

Well, at least 2 people seem to like it, or they're too polite to say the otherwise. I haven't been on the STEX for awhile and I am disappointed that I found only 2 acceptable BATs on the last two pages. There's better stuff on the SC site nowadays. Anyways folks, think before uploading if most of us would like it. Read the comments and choose the majority.......Good luck.

....better NOT upload the lesser good lots and BATs and keep your name than make a fool of yourself with no-sense uploads that we will remember for a long time. I recommend strongly to open up a thread and discuss what you want to create with others before uploading useless stuff. Surely it will help You and us to have a better STEX.

Good concept and looks good. But not useful as just eye candy. Give it some commercial jobs. As others have commented, they are pool sellers that have mini or full size versions on in-ground pools and not every lot has to be an original BAT. Think before you upload, and think before you post.

It does look good and is a good idea but you don't buy in ground pools like that and you shouldn't use pools which are already from Maxis

Please, list the dependencies, because I see you've used custom props. Also open a lot thread, this will improve the quality of your lots a lot.

I agree with mrbison. While it's nice that people are contributing lots to the STEX, there have not been many decent ones recently. For this lots, it's not very useful. I believe that pool stores may actually showcase their pools at a retail outlet like this. However, the lot is fairly useless for most users without being a commercial growable with jobs.

P.S. It's definitely a creative idea as I don't remember ever seeing a pool store on the STEX.
