About This File

DESCRIPTION

This is my very first BAT, essentially an old water tower, which suits well in the center of one-way roundabouts. I hope you will like it, but if you have any suggestions or remarks, just feel free to share them with me.  All feedback are welcome, of course 1.gif

FACTS

  • Building the tower costs 400 simoleons.
  • Produces 3500 cubic meters of water monthly.
  • The tower costs 75 simoleons a month.
  • The LOT does not have any dependencies.

INSTALLATION

Just copy the contents of the .zip file into your Plugins directory.

very nice, although it could be dangerous when sims use the roundabout, as seeing oncoming traffic could be troublesome. The lot could use some bushes or flowers, though. 4/5 Amazing first BAT though!

Nice job for your 1st bat. This will do nicely in some of my "old country" themed areas.

I don't know what it looks like beside the Maxis Watertower, but I have a slight feeling that it might be a little off scale (too big), just a little. For a first BAT, this is fantastic, better than very good!, and surely lots better than my first.......long time ago....lol. Bravo.

The tower is very well done, especially for your first offering! I'm thinking it would work in a residential area. There is an old water tower in a development not far from my house, though it only sits at a corner of an intersection. 10/10

Great work, if the water tower which I imagine is located in Sabadell (Spain), the direction Poblenou de la Salut. It reminds me of my childhood. Thank you for this work.

Nice one - reminds me a bit of the watertower of Mannheim which is a local landmark

Very nice, I almost want to use this, but it is out of scale, particularly for an "Old" water tower. Perhaps scaling it back about 25%. Is there nightlighting? Thanks for sharing, I look forward to you future projects.

Thank you all for your kind comments! A few more things I'd like to add: I admit that the building may look way too big compared to the in-game water tower. But that one is actually a quite small one in its appareance. I think after comparing the sizes of windows and doors to other buildings, it doesn't appear off-scale. I was thinking if it needed some shrinking, but eventually I decided to leave it. The original building is located in my hometown, Budapest, Hungary.
