Actually capital of Netherlands is Den Haag, not Amsterdam. That aside; pretty good map

Nice map! And yes Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands. But 2.5 million inhabitants is incorrect. The greater Amsterdam area (with suburbs) has got around 1.6 million inhabitants. The city intself around 730.000.

As said, Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands (the government is situated in The Hague though). It has about 750,000 inhabitants. The metropolitan area has about 1,000,000 inhabitants. BTW, a very good map! Amsterdam has more canals than this, but those are impossible to put in. There are just too much of them. So I think you did a very good job! KUTGW ;)

@ Simfox: not entirely true; Amsterdam is the de jure capital, but the government is housed in Den Haag, making it the de facto capital. Also, Amsterdam has about 850,000 inhabitants, not the 2.3 million claimed here (not even the agglomeration has that many).
