This is a map that I created for use in my city journal New Corsica here at Simtropolis and also at SimCity 4 Devotion. I did not use it in the end because I later decided that I wanted more room to build on. Nevertheless, I received a request to put this map up on the STEX so I therefore do so now. As you can see, this map is characterized by the large mountain on the central island and the deep lake in the middle that is surrounded by breathtaking cliffs. There is plenty of room to build and the terrain looks quite nice using the Italia Terrain Mod, as shown here.
As you will notice, there is also a flat and low-elevation island to the south. This was created specifically to be an offshore harbour.
