About This File

First I have to say sorry that the first download link did not work. I did not know that special letters in the file's name cause problems.

Here we go, and hopefully it works now.

That is a real life building which can be found next to the train station Berlin - Friedrichstraße in the German capital. It is built in the modern architectural style whcih is typical for Berlin.

The LOT has a size of 4x2 and the file includes a landmark and a growable version with 300 CO$$ Jobs.

Released

Updated files to remove the ß character from file names, which was causing an issue with sc4pac.

Sure looks nice in the pic. but I get a blank lot in game. Maybe the US version of the game doesn't like those special German characters. Ah well. too bad. This is a perfect looking mid-rise.

Like it very much. And you should find inspiration for more buildings to BAT in the neighbourhood of this building, e.g. Dussmann books superstore. That would be a nice addition.

@ mikeseith: I'm not at my PC right now, but blank lot sounds more like bugged ploppable to me (parent cohort other than 0/0/0)... I once made the mistake of including a special character in a desc file myself... the result was crash to desktop as soon as the query cursor touched the building, but it grew ok. I'll have a look into the file when I'm home - gonna download this anyway. ;)

Ok, so I checked it... I still don't know why it grows on empty lots, but I do know now that it will never grow because there is no proper growable lot included. Nothing that couldn't be fixed, of course... ;)
