Joergs Water Mod 2

i think its greats and those of you bitching have no room to talk whatsoever, untill u start making mods or lots pipe it. It amazes me just how ungrateful people are, i hope that the ones complaining are 14 years old on christmas vacation with no clue on life, rather than a adult

Darkmatter i respect that you have asked me to update it and i probably will tommorow. It just erks me sometime to see all these people complain about something that seems so small to me. Also animation isnt possible and any larger of a texture would effect performance.

Thanx Joerg! An update would be nice, but I won't complain. This is great! P.S. Would anyone take the lines out of the water texture and then put it on the underwater ground texture? That would make it more realistic.

Looking forward to the update, Joerg. :) I have to agree about the animated water. Thats not possible, and if it was, it would absolutely KILL performance. The waters look excellent right now...really wonderful.

But I thought the water is normally animated (the waves and stuff)?

Ok the update is done full pics of all 10 textures. Also mayor tim you would think that would work but the games water is no where near transparent enough for that to help unfortunetly just look at how distorted the underwater sand is now and past any normal depth you cant see it anyway. Sorry.

Thanks for the update with pictures Joerg. On a slow system you wouldn't believe how painful checking all your interesting water textures is when you only have the game itself to look at them in. This sort of extra service is the difference between a good piece of work and a legend.

This certainly is worth the download. I especially like the Northern Pacific, Mediterranean and Emerald Isles water texture. The only thing that really needs improving is the underwater texture at the edges of the map. But overall, it's a great download. Keep up the good work!

i can only load the yellow puke texture though i tried al the others they all show up as yellow puke in the game

I followed your instructions but I can only get the yellow puke! ....Now all my citys make me wanna puke!....can you help me somehow...?

Yah i can tell you that you did it wrong. Sorry but i cant say much else you need to make sure that you only have one in your plugins folder at a time. Place the one you want in your folder and you will be fine.

I have the same problem. I only get yellow puke. Don't know why....And trust me, i've tried everything. Everything is tried gives me yellow puke. The only time when i do not get yellow puke is when i don't place any of your dat file at all.
