You deleted my comment on your last upload too? Why? Anyways, this is better, but if you spent a little more time with this, the finished product would look and work much better. I would recommend modeling this with the same texture as a road and then playing around with it to add the extra lane. Nice concept, but it needs more work :P.

Good idea but, the textures need work, ideally dragable. I will only download this file if these requirements can be met. Maybe someone on the NAM team can make the necessary adjustments.

Psycho_Teddy: He has every right to upload his creations onto the STEX and we have every right to judge it and criticize it. It's not as though we were flaming him. And I found out he deleted my last comments as well on his las upload. So i ask, why should we cut him any slack if he refuses to listen and humbly take the advice that many others are still willing to give to him. If he wants all these criticisms off his back, then don't upload anything at all.

psychoteddy why back this guy up after numerous times of ignoring any of our advice? all i see is ignorance coming out of this and this is what his 4th or 5th upload of his work and it still hasnt changed? all he does when we try to tell our opinion he deletes it? . as warrior has already showed its not that hard to put extra effort to make something decent. you decide and readjust whos side you are on bc it seems youre preaching to the wrong choir reverend 0/10

Well I don't think that Psycho Teddy is backing him up. Hes just stressing that all comments, REGARDLESS OF THE UPLOADER, should be constructive and informative. If you don't have anything decent to say, don't say anything at all.

Exactly, Hal. If he is deleting your comments and ignoring your advice, then simply don't try to help him further. You guys are not contributing to the development of the STEX by leaving such comments as "this sucks" and "an embarrassment" and such other light flamings. If you don't like it, don't download it. And if you can't or don't feel like leaving any advice, don't say anything derogatory about the lot or user.

I'm not defending j-dub for ignoring you guys, I'm just sick of hearing all of this whining about these "low quality" lots. How hard is it to look at the lot, scoff to yourself, and move on? Honestly? Where is the need to degrade and cut down these new guys?

read my comments above and in the thread. Seriously people, you can think whatever you want, but when you post, try and present the bad news in a way thats polite and not "you suck" criticism.

alkaola i usually go by the pictures when i rate as i don't download everything & i rate everything because i think it's a good thing to do.i don't rate everything the same though,i may use the same rating in a row if the file shows that it meets that,pictures isn't the best way to rate i know but it serves me well.

Could I see what the police/fire stations look like? I was thinking maybe those could look good by themselves...or I could stop being lazy and open them up in the lot editor. :p

Huh, I just had a quick look at your lots and the textures really don't look that bad. That's not to say there's not room for improvement (just about every upload here might need an itty bitty touch of it lol), but they really don't look to nice. The only problem is that they mess up the pathfinding engine from what I hear, but the work itself isn't all that bad really!5/10--it's adequate

You know, there's a world falling apart outside of this site. Arguing over textures of a road seems so trivia in the grand scheme of things. If you think you can do a better job at making this... then just do it. Stop complaining, get over, who really cares? Take some initiative and don't waste your energy on talking about it. Do it. Umm... I'll get off my soapbox now. :)

stylinmartyr, there are people already working on doing this properly. It just takes time.

PLEASE no more "interim overlay" lots! Make them for yourself if you can't just be PATIENT and WAIT, but please do NOT release these to the public.

For the time being, I believe that everyone needs to chill out.

You can get the Network Widening Mod from the NAM Team. It has these types of avenues, my friend.
