About This File

Modelled after the real thing in Hamburg, here comes a residential building with a hard-to-forget Del Monte mural on the firewall.

In real life, this building stands quite alone on a large parking field, close to Hamburg’s main railway station on Norderstrasse 46. This building was erected in the beginning of the 20th century. It features dark brick facades and (faked) steep roof to resemble traditional German architecture in the nationalistic strives of those times. I guess that it had several fellow buildings before the war, when this tract’s proximity to the railway and harbour made it to a goal for allied bombings.

This building comes both as growable and ploppable versions. The growable building is a stage 5, medium wealth residential building that provide homes for 121 sims. It grows in medium density zones only. The ploppable version is found in the landmarks menu. It is free to plop but brings no revenue except the looks.

The building has nightlights, it is nothing fancy but it sure lits up at night.

There are no dependencies. Enjoy!

I do love your recent uploads! Exact the thing of "ordinary" houses that are so often overseen!

Looks good. The side del Monte texture is particularly impressive.
