  1. Magic Mouse Zooms crazy

I stopped using the MM because of that issue. A while back I used to use a free utility called Magic Prefs that allows customization of MM gestures, : http://magicprefs.com Perhaps this will help.
  2. Game is unplayable without Internet connection!

Memo, I've never heard of data-packing. How is it done?
  3. Game is unplayable without Internet connection!

Deal-breaker if true. Is that merely your experience or is that a confirmed bug?
  4. MODs for AppStore version of SimCity 4 for Mac

Years of playing on a Bootcamp/WinXP partition has given me an enormous plugins folder, including NAM. Pretty psyched about getting most of it to the Mac. Barely started adding a few lots at a time and it seems the plugins folder has reached a maximum size (1.4 GB) that won't cause the game to crash upon launch. If anybody has some insight to what the problems may be please do share.
  5. Just a suggestion: A new thread for NAM for Mac. I can't offer any technical support to get NAM working on Mac OSX; all I know is It's not working on My Mac (despite removing NetworkAddonMod_Bridges_Plugin_Controller.dat) and I want NAM in my SC4 world!!!!
  6. Not for me, sadly (MacBook Pro-2012, Mavericks)
  7. Anybody tell me how to rotate lots when plopping them on a MacBook Pro keyboard?
  8. Question about the file extractor like Wine, Crossover et al: Do you download an .exe to the Mac and run the software there? Or do you have to do this on Windows? I do already have a nice pluggin and NAM architecture going on my bootcamp partition; could I just import all of that into the SC4 for OSX? Or a more simple question might be-can I continue my created cities/regions from Windows by importing it all to the fresh Mac version I just downloaded? Very excited by this!
  9. New SimCity Coming to Mac in February 2013

Sorry-should have specified that I was referring to SimCity 4 Deluxe for Mac; that CD ROM shipped without the ability to toggle grid view off. No update was issued to my knowledge.
  10. New SimCity Coming to Mac in February 2013

Since Maxis never deemed it worth their time to update SC4 to allow players to turn off grid view I'm not holding onto any hope this will be with getting into.
  11. State Fair Market

It will add some fun to my big city which is in the grips of a recession. Thanks! Good contribution.
  12. Graphics issues with my mac

I'm running OSX (Leopard) and have no issues with graphics. I don't wish to send you down a rat hole but have you pondered the graphics card you're using? According to C-Net: http://reviews.cnet.com/graphics-cards/ati-radeon-hd-2600/4505-8902_7-32489776.html ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT The good:Excellent HD video image quality; easy installation with no internal cable connections. The bad:Subpar 3D performance, even for a midrange 3D card. The bottom line: If you're looking to build a home theater PC, we recommend ATI's Radeon HD 2600 XT as the midrange card to use, thanks to its nearly perfect HD video image and its no-fuss installation. But for 3D gaming, you'd be much better off looking for a good deal on a faster, older graphics card.
  13. How to lose friends and alienate countries

On Fox News: If a news outlet waves a national flag, at all times, in the corner of the TV screen, it's probably a nationalistic mouthpiece.
  14. Broadway Mansions

Spectacular! Aspiring Batters take note; this is how to do texturing.
