Variation on modern housing blocks from the Western outskirts of Amsterdam (Sloten). Quite a few Dutch new residential city-areas have been built with buildings like this. Not so nice to see (especially when it rains - and it rains a lot in Holland...), but I'm sure they provide comfort inside for the people living there.
