However this version is not entirely OBSOLETE, there can be found a newer and cleaner version on LEX:

UPDATE - Jan 2007:

Some overlay textures with duplicate IIDs were removed from the pack, and some of the narrow dirt paths received minor cosmetic changes. If you installed the previous version of this file, please remove it from your plugins when installing this one.
EDIT: Just a note to clarify. This is the same file as BSC_TexturePack_Cycledogg_V 01.dat, which has been on the STEX for a year or so. There have only been a few minor changes, as mentioned above. If you have the old one, it's not imperative that you download this one, (though you can if you want to, of course). If you decide download this one, be sure to remove the old one from your plugins.

About This File

A new pack bursting at the seams with base and overlay textures (over 2000 textures all together). Base textures Include several types of grasses, soils and flowering meadows, combined together in various shapes, as well as a variety of asphalt, brick, concrete, dirt and gravel. In addition, there is a large selection of overlay textures for creating roads, paths, driveways, parking areas, etc. Included are diagonals and sweeping curves. Also, there are small fragments of driveway or pathway that can be pieced together with other overlays to form more complex or unusual stuff.

No dependencies.

I'll download only because any one of these 2000 new textures will end up in someones lot sooner or later. But by the looks of those textures in the picture, this has been a enormous effort. Well done. Textures are what makes a city (besides buildings!) 10/10

Your first terrain pack has really been a milestone for the game, and I'm sure it's a standard for most players now. I'm pretty sure these textures will change the face of the game a lot again making playing simcity a lifelong addiction..

Wow, these look fantastic, truly some amazing textures in this pack, and thanks for letting us use them. Tell me, will the fences we see in the image be uploaded as well? And will we see the entire lot in that image uploaded? Thanks for this!

The fences are already available in this prop pack: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=14842 And yes, I'll be releasing the lot shown in the pic too, but first I have to finish the set of log cabins that goes along with it.

Can someone please be so kind as to tell me how to make this work. I have downloaded it and put it in my plugins folder and when I play the game nothing is new. Any pm or message will be helpful. Tyvm, and hopefully I get to enjoy it soon.
