About This File

Built in dazzling heights, these bridges will span steep valleys and jagged mountain areas. These lots are mostly eye-candy, but they will look great in any city journal!

The set contains 22 lots, such as:

standard bridge piece, about 320 m high bridge piece with gas captive balloon, 320 m high bridge pillar construction, several heights between 64 and 250 m bridge pillar construction start bridge piece, about 60 m high two bridge pieces with curve construction two bridge pieces with ground level construction support pillars

Note: The bridges have a default height, you have to adjust the terrain to the appropriate height with the terraforming tools. You can plop buildings and transportation network tiles below the bridges. All lots can be found in the airport menu (it's almost the only menu that isn't overcrowded yet ;-) ).

This file comes with an installer, Mac users can use FileJuicer to extract the files.

WOW... I mean... Wow. Hey, could you do the same thing for elevated highways and bridges going over water?? 9/10 for near-perfection, and two thumbs up for obvious hard work!

Actually, you can build these bridges also over water. Only one pillar has to be on the ground, since the bridge is a large prop that stands on a 2x2 lot with transparent base texture. You can also use the bridges for elevated highways, just raise the ground by 15 m (with smoncrie's ground lifter).

also would it be possible to create transit enabled non construction version that actully allowed traffic.

But of course theres the part about not being able to put 2 transit enabled pieces together s i guess it wouldn't work.

@BIWDC: No, that's not possible, at least not with the technique Spocky used. The bridges are overhanging props that are placed on rather small lots. But it might be possible to convert the BAT model into an actual bridge, much like the ones smoncrie and jeronij are working on at the moment.

These look great. Any thoughts on creating ones that look finished? Maybe you could make an approch for the bridge that is transit enabled but make it go straight to subway so we could have curving highway bridges that somewhat work.
