Great statue. To those who have read his history know he was a great man stuck on the wrong end of history by circumstances beyond his control.

Its a great statue. But for also historian purposes and don't take this that I agree with slavery but that is not what I am saying. The Civil War was not fought over slave rights but state rights.

The south thought slavery should be up to the individual states not the central government. In the end the North won and we are better off for it. And great statue.

Nice, I like the smaller sized one; the big one seems to big to me so I'm glad you gave us a choice. I didn't notice if you did that with Napoleon, so I'll have to go check. He was sort of 50% sized anyway....lol

I have something to say about the Civil War and slavery and some of the last few comments, but maybe we should all avoid that, stick to SimCity here and go read a book about the war instead?

Jarnomiedema, while your statues are absolutely amazing (and they are, best I've seen for SC4), your descriptions about them are even better! I JUST watched Gods and Generals yesterday, and Gettysburg is next on my list. I agree with your comments about Lee as well!

Then I can't wait to see it... I thought Duval was pretty good as Lee (though the movie was SO much more about Stonewall Jackson, completely stating the obvious, but...)

What blew me away more than anything in that movie, though, was the lunacy of the some of the Union's tactics... Burnsides really shot himself in the metaphocial foot by waiting for the Confederates to dig in... and then to send wave after wave of troops across the river...

it was sad, and strategically dumb, and it was hard to watch.
