Is that hosted here? I couldn't find it. Also, it seems that if you want to download anything from that website more than 1mb, you need to pay for it.... Hmmm..

paulus - glogowskie_przedszkole_v1 Yepp, it's in the collection... You can list here your findings that you are not sure about if they were posted here in the past 6-7 years, and then I can confirm whether it was part of the Polska collection or not.

I love these little finds! It does look like some BATs are there that aren't here. I like the Głogów Kindergarten and the other civic lots like the Police station and clinic.

I think that's a personal folder shared on the internet. I remember that used to be a thing in Poland, as I ran into music stuff and other stuff over the years which were shared the same way. The above image is MRQS - The Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), Krakow, which is sitting on my HDD waiting to be restored as the other 389 folder which would be ony to way to be restored if I had the time to sort them out. I will come back here soonish with a plan, as I am thinking about out-sourcing the Polska Restoration, but I also wish to leave some guidence, so it would not become a hot mess. I also completely forgot to update this thread with those few contents that officially became restored in past 4 years...

Hi Guys, I came across this website which has a fair number of Polish BATs: https://chomikuj.pl/pemo22/SimCity+4/BATy/ Just though it might be interesting enough to share. There are some I haven't seen yet on STEX. One example is the Kraków Cloth Hall.

Hi everybody, Long time passed without any updates here, but now I brought some long awaited SimCity Polska files from the stock. Also the previously uploaded dependency packs have been reworked/rebuilt and reuploaded with new versions, so please remove any of the old ones (or run the provided cleanitols) and replace them with these new versions. I spent some time to rethink about the uploaded Polska Mega Prop pack vol01 and was reading some of the concerns either. I have fully given up the mega prop pack method, I still believe it makes more sense than dozens of small ones and I explained above how it was built at the first place. Now the second version (v2) is a bit different. I removed many of the contents which was already available here and there as separate prop packs (like kbieniu's roadsign pack, or MQRS's Passanger rail cars - later one already got an updated version, the former one is available on LEX and will be updated eventually), also I removed the industrial related models and props and they went into a new mega prop pack, which was previously know as AC Saturn Prop Pack. This AC Saturn Prop pack was expanded by other related models created by Aras (AC), also from the previous version of the Polish Mega Prop Pack, I brought the single floating industrial models here. It got a few new stuffs though. I found in the stock some coal pile models serving some MMP stuffs also a bucketwheel excavator from Zarzyk, which got into this MISC Industrials Mega Prop pack. The lot for the excavator will be uploaded separately at a later time, so Zarzyk creation won't be burried under the mega prop pack completely (it's a really great model), but for future lotters it has bigger use in the megaprop pack than it's being a separate upload). The Passanger Rail Cars created by MQRS are available in an updated single DAT form once again. You can read more about all the changes in the changelogs at the download pages. So here is the stuffs which have been uploaded this time: Have fun and enjoy! - Tyberius06 (STEX Custodian)

Hello everyone! So more or less, the Polish Mega Prop Pack is ready. I sent a copy to @kbieniu7 to check, if he is OK with it. I compiled in the pack the following contents, but at the end it will be only one single *.dat file (it's from the readme): Among the documentation there will be a cleanitol file, which can help to get the rid of the duplications. The props have the same IIDs how they were released, although I slightly changed the examplar names, now all of them starts with SCP_"initials/name of the creators. Like SCP_DaveN or SCP_kb7 or SCP_for (for fordoniak) etc... It can be helpful for LOTters to find all these props at the same place. I managed to merged the models and props with the JDatPacker, which doesn't have that side effect as the general datpacker with the non-essentials examplars in the model files. The general datpacker, while it's compiling the the contents, removes the xml examplars from the models, which hold the model name, so in PIM-X only the TGIs show up in the standard model section if you datpack models, and it can be a nice fishing expedition to find the wanted models. the JDatPacker keeps these xml examplars, therefore you can have the model names in PIM-X. Anyway. I kept the separate contents (as listed above) for archiving and back-up reasons, but I don't plan to release them. - Tyberius

Yepp, I was thinking about the same. I did such kind of texture ID fixes just a couple of mounts ago, so I am not unfamiliar with the process and I have texture range. I was just wondering whether Fordoniak had texture range or not, but it has been answered. All three texture set will get new IIDs then PiM-x is my friend. Thanks. - Tyberius

Honestly, you are going about this in a manner which is far more complicated than need be. You'll never be fully sure an ID is unique if you try to find a gap in a range of someone else's assigned range. Just use new IDs that are from another (yours if you have one), range instead. That way you can be confident of no conflicts. If you need a handful of IDs and don't have a range, I can provide you with some.
  11. Current collection

I think it might be an idea to check in with @mattb325 as he's the one who put together the texture list I passed onto you
  12. Current collection

Oh... Indeed! Sorry I totally forgot about that list. Thanks for the reminder. And it helped, but maybe not that way I hoped, and the shit (sorry for the language) just hit the fan... 19/10/2010 FC782DA0 - FC783188 SimMars WTF? Hm... Now this will be interesting Edit: I have the SimMars mod and apparently it doesn't use this texture range at all (after I checked the relevant files in Reader). So now I'm even more confused...
  13. Current collection

I don't think I can help, I passed over to you a while back all the information I had on texture ranges .... I will check the files I have on my computer next time I'm on it and see if I've missed anything but I never had much to do with texture ranges so I would be surprised if I do have anything else
  14. Current collection

Sorry for the double triple post. So I ran into an issue with two of Fordoniak's creations. He managed to reuse some of his texture IIDs in different projects, so now those are conflicting. Also some of his textures IIDs are rather confusing. Can someone ( @catty-cb or @rsc204) help me figure it out if Fordoniak/adrian10/adik151 had any official texture IID range. Because he used textures IIDs starting with 0xFC000000-0xFC000004 0xFC100000-0xFC100004 Now taking a deeper look onto his used texture IIDs I found two gaps in the older texture file, so I found space for the two conflicting texture, but I don't know what's going on with the first two above. The more promising thing, that he used properly the texture IIDs within this range, but there are two gaps, and two ID conflicts which technically could cover each other: 0xFC782DA0-0xFC782DFE The first gap: 0xFC782DC0-0xFC782DC4 The second gap: 0xFC782DD5-0xFC782DD9 And the conflicts: 0xFC782DE0-0xFC782DE4 0xFC782DE5-0xFC782DE9 So it would be awesome if we could check whether these IIDs are free or were asigned to Fordoniak etc... Then I could make the necessary fixes (PIM-X is my best friend ) Thanks in advance! - Tyberius EDIT: OK, I'm gonna get a little headache with this. So here is this beautiful creation: Do you see the split STR textures? Well they are using the very same starter IIDs, what his other and earlier creation has been using. This is peachy. He managed to re-use those exact IIDs. By the way these split STR textures are close to the above mentioned Maxis Rail Retexture version. This station definitelly needs to get new IIDs.

Hi there! I thought I brought a little status update here regarding the recent works on the SimCity Polska Restoration Project. I managed to separate one complete set from the different collected collections, thanks everyone for the help ( @sejr99999, @kschmidt, @Ra-V, @CorinaMarie, @Cyclone Boom, @Yarahi, @kbieniu7, @Mika88, @ramrec, @monkeywater, @Duco, @AsimPika3172, @catty-cb) and support. I discussed this with @kbieniu7, and we agreed that creating one single Polish Mega Prop Pack from the used to be known Fordoniak/Polish Prop Packs would be better (at this point I'm not sure whether I will datpack them, but there is a high chance for that, however on my end I will keep the separate prop packs for archiving and back-up reasons), considering the fact that the collected pile what we had contained at least 4 different versions (different amount of added files in each versions), not to mention that checking the files many of them have duplications in individual uploads. Also there are some single floating props and models, and some other prop packs too, also I'm thinking about including the already released AC Satrun Prop Pack and MRQS's Rail Car Prop pack into the magapack. Since currently I have the full collection (even those files what were released on STEX and LEX in the past), I plan to go through on the full collection and get the rid of all the duplications. A Cleanitol file will be provided. Now further on. All the contents (the already uploaded ones are included too) will get a standard file/folder structure system. The main zip folder and the name on the download page will contain the english version and where it's necessary for the easier recognition, the original polish name without the special characters will be provided, but the content folder names will be the polish names. Also I'll rename all the files which use the special polish characters. This is mostly done actually. Example: RaV - Saint Anna (Swietej Anny) Street, Brzeziny - this is the zip name Documents RaV - creators name folder Sw. Anny, Brzeziny - content folder name (which actually holds the lot and model files) Brzeziny, Sw. Anny-0x5ad0e817_0x64bf2dd3_0x30000.SC4Model Brzeziny, Sw. Anny-0x6534284a-0x63d5f2a9-0x84c32629.SC4Desc LM_2x2_Brzeziny, Sw. Anny_64c33031.SC4Lot Also I discovered that Fordoniak has an account here on STEX and DaveN has too. Anyway. It just makes things a little bit easier and more complicate at the same time. And now that I started to put together Fordoniak Prop Pack and started investigating his creations I ran into a bit of issue. One of his uploads contains many-many unnecessary files and also a Maxis Rail Texture replacent set. Now for sure I won't release this, however luckily any of the NAM editions would overwrite this one. I will take out the usefull textures, since some of them is necessary for his uploads, into a new DAT file, but won't release the override textures. And there will one more action. Most of the growable and/or ploppable versions (any creator) doesn't really have proper item name or item descriptions. These will be updated, so when you are browsing in landmark menu, you will get the actual lot name instead of the "custom plopable" or my other favourite: "small green park"... Well, after releasing the megaprop pack (which I hope to do before next weekend), slowly I start releasing the contents probably starting with Aras (AC) creations. But at this point it's too early to tell, the exact schedule. - Tyberius

Thanks! I am gonna check it after work. I just need to do a rough comparsion and pick only those what I don't have. I would say that what we have collected since sept 2018 is rougly 85-90 percent of the whole or even a bit more. In the past months I spent most of the time make ONE set of contents out of the collections what we shared here which were altogether more than 1000 files and folders. The goal is somewhere about 400+-max. 450, before packaging. I have cleaned around 250-300 currently. - Tyberius

Hi! I've uploaded the bulk download at my Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZVp0e31RnEWGFlrQullbMfigz-q3uT_R?usp=sharing I'm not sure if there are all of the files that were at SimCityPolska, probably not. Hard to estimate how much. Some of them are organized in folders. However, some of them are free-floating among .desc, .lot, .model, .txt. and .jpg files. It's kind of a mess, unfortunately... Regarding Rav's files, I think that the best would be to upload them in packs. He made a lot of great stuff, mostly small-town w2ws. 1. Rav's small-town w2ws pack 1 2. Rav's small-town w2ws pack 2 3. Rav's single family houses Regards, Kamil

Yep. We can do that. (Technically, I can, but it's more @Cyclone Boom's area of expertise.) Sounds like a brilliant idea to me. I vote for changing them in the individual files. I feel we aren't really treading on anyone's toes or overriding artistic integrity. These seem like things peeps either didn't know they could change or didn't know how to change them, so fixing them now prolly follows the creator's intentions had they been able to originally.

Hi Ad. 1. Well, such a one SimCityPolska decency pack could be a good idea. We could use those two Fordoniak's prop packs, as well as Mrqs' species that you listed. I'd also add Mrqs'city busses and railway cars. Ad. 2. Yeah, this issue could be quite annoying, unfortunately some of the creators left this field as default. I don't have experience with PIMx, nor with the Reader. I don't know how much of time would be needed to do so, but if it's possible to change it, that would be a good idea. Regards Kamil

Hi everybody! Ah don't worry about that @kbieniu7. I have separated a big chunk of the files/folders and most of what was already up on the STEX and LEX got their folder structure rebuilding threatment on my end. I think at the end when we have everything up and running further categories can be added to the SCP Download section (am I right on this one @CorinaMarie?) mimicing the categories of the original SCP site. But this is just an idea. I would like to ask the opinion of the community, the admins and Kamil about two things. While I have been putting together the, files I kept running into floating models and props or different versions of the Fordiniak/Polish prop packs and or individual uploads which contain files from the prop pack generating unnecessary duplications. Since now these are all legacy stuffs and in some cases for new users, what if we build up ONLY ONE SCP Mega Prop dependency pack based on the most extended version of Fordoniak's two prop packs and it would include other standalone floating models (MRQS - Mineshaft "szyb") or other stuffs what we choose to put there what we feel it can be used generally. Then we can remove the duplications from the single uploads and link the Mega Pack as dependency. Since for 90% of the uploads we need to create readmes, putting this one link as dependency I don't think it would be an issue. While I was checking some of the files I ran into an annoying modding issue. A bunch of plopables have the item names and discription as "Custom Ploppable", blank or PIM(-X) autogenerated lines. So technically in your landmark menu all of these has the same name: Custom Ploppable. Now we are moving a more sensitive aspect, but actually I would change them to the real name even if this means altering the original lot files a bit. PIM-X or even Reader can do this easily (I prefer PIM-X somehow, specially because you can set up LText files easily with it). It's easier and cleaner. The other option would be making an override examplar (desc file) for every single file with the proper names, but in that case we should release a SCP Essentials, which would contain the override examplars for the ploppables in one single DAT file. But leaving them as is wouldn't be practical. Well, these are just ideas, what would be the best implementation. - Tyberius

Hi! Adik151 is Fordoniak - I've asked him, if he could upload his Fordoniak Prop Pack to LEX, as it was probably the most popular depency from SimCityPolska. I thought that they were the same, but I've never looked inside nor compared one with the other. In 2019 I've got a bulk, unorganised folder with all SimCityPolska files - a backup from before the shutdown. I tried to organise them, choose which are valuable and which are not much, as well as making photos, readmes etc. However, it turned that it was a really time-consuming work and I got stuck. I'll try to upload and share them somehow. Here is an excel notebook with list of the files that were in SCP download, with their English description: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tnJ60LMquhbbtqPtqaaxqJksidiDgSNwIEm7DZwLKk4/edit?usp=sharing Also, there is a folder with 17 files of civic category that I managed to organize, find their photos and description. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1I3-dxh0bbM3yYb5fH16tvkx1rmOMuG_E If there is any issue with translation, you can write to me. Weird, there so many duplicate props in differen prop packs, and different version. What should be taken in mind, is that all those bat´s, lot+´s make use of these prop packs. Hope the files I delivered you last week will be fine, curious about that Bliko 4P file another prop pack ! Sincerely yours, Kschmidt

Hi there! Hm... As you may noticed I started to release officially some Polish stuffs under the @STEX Custodian account. Well since I don't know at this moment, that what plugins are using what dependencies, I started to dig out the obvious dependency packs. And I ran into a bit confusing stuff. So a user called adik151 released upon request the Polish Prop Pack vol. 1 and vol. 2 on LEX 3 years ago. At that time I didn't know, just recently realized, when I compared and looked into some prop packs for the prop picture catalogue, that these prop packs and the Fordoniak Prop Packs (also vol. 1 and vol. 2) are more or less identical. Well I mean like 90% identical, because browsing through the collected stuffs from the first page and my back-ups and the LEX version there are small differences. In some way the Fordoniak Prop Pack vol. 1 contains 5 more props than the polish prop pack vol.1, but the Polish Prop Pack vol. 2 uploaded by adik151 contains somehow 30+ more props than the Fordoniak pp vol. 2. It seems to me, that these prop packs were constantly updated and they got time to time new props and different players had different versions of these packs. For example one of the Fordoniak Prop Pack v2 contains two Garaz # props, the other version (I think I found it in @kschmidt collection) 7, but the adik151 Polish Prop Pack v2 contains nine (!) Garaz # props folder, although the Garaz 8 folder is empty, there is just an image with a huge question mark (?). I wanted to upload today this prop pack, but first I'm curious about your opinion. I started to put together only ONE "complete" version of Vol. 1 and Vol.2 prop pack named after Fordoniak (bear in mind, that the LEX version is not complete either, so I will speak to CasperVG after i finalized the things to replace those versions with a full one): Fordoniak (Polish) Prop Pack vol. #. I have a little issue with the original upload and mostly in the case of the vol. 1 it contains duplicate model files also every model and prop is in separate folders and they contain prop images one by one. Now, I know the avarage players, and they wouldn't bother to remove the unnecessary images or datpack the prop pack to get the rid of them, so I got the rid of the subfolders and since the prop packs contains actually collective prop images I tend to get the rid of the small single separate prop images too. The whole image set will show up on the donwload page and in the picture catalogue too. But I have an other thing in mind. I'm thinking about merging the two prop packs into ONE. Highly unlikely that these are getting any new update. Of course I think, I'm gonna keep the original ones (in an organized form, both the Fordoniak and the adik151 Polish Prop pack) for archiving purpose, but for uploading them to STEX I would put only one pack and in the description I'm explaining what is what. EDIT: Ok, now it seems, that these prop packs actually contains more than just one person's props. And in different sets there are actually duplications, so what I'm planning to do and already started it, that taking the index/spreadsheet what we have I go through all of the contents and get the rid of all the duplicates and build up ONE huge Polska folder with the contents. Then check what prop/model duplications we have here and there. I know @kbieniu7 has some files what we don't have in the current collection. Anyway currently my Current collection folder contains like 600+ folders, but it has many duplications, but for me it's necessary to do like this, to see through on the different people's collections like mine, Yarahi, Kschmidt and others. - Tyberius

Hi Guys Was going to post the spreadsheet in the club, but noticed I had an excel spreadsheet called "WebLinks-draft-simcitypolska-mika88.xlsx" on my computer and checking back if you guys go back to the second page of this topic you will find a 1st and 2nd draft of this spreadsheet which @Mika88 was working on, his spreadsheet is missing a few creator's names so this list should help

Perhaps it could be posted under a dedicated account for which anyone who is to have editing rights would know the password to said account?

I actually started a topic on something very similiar to this over here As being able to do this for all the community sites that have shutdown would be very handy especially if there was field for adding the plugins current location, my preference would be to have them on Simtropolis but then that brings up the issue of how to edit them. -catty
