  1. Dependency checker

I don't know about a program to check, but one thing to remember is that certain prop packs will contain old props in them. I had an issue not frequently where I would download a prop/dependency and then sometime later would download a prop pack that had they same prop/dependency. I would then get the brown box. It was always quite difficult for me to run down, because I would scan my plugin folder and see all the listed props, but still get brown boxes. Just keep this is mind...
  2. City of Aluumen - Asgard!

    Wow
  3. You can get rid of the landfills.  Just bulldoze the road connections and trash will disappear.  Then you could de-zone them.  Based on your pictures, this should not interrupt traffic to much in your case since you have not expanded on the other side of the landfills yet.  Would improve the aesthetics tremendously.  Casino would look awesome without the landfills beside it.
  4. STEX downloads limit

I got off for spring break yesterday and went on a downloading spree of BATs before I start my new region. However, this morning I get an error message that says "you have exceeded the maximum number of downloads allowed in one day." This is the first time I've ever gotten this, anybody seen this before?
  5. How big is your plugin folder?

Wow, so I'm still pretty light compared to you guys. THanks for the inputs. I'm going to look into the datpacking as well.
  6. I recently had a computer crash and had to re-instal Rush hour and after making the decision to stick with Rush for a while until 2013 gets the kinks worked out I thought I would embark on a monumental task before starting my region..... I'm going through the entire STEX and getting every awesome BAT available. I had to limit downloads to 5* rating or 4* rating that I think is just too good to pass up. This is no easy task. Currently I'm at 908 MB of space in the plugin folder and I'm about 1/3 of the way through the BATs. So that got me thinking.... how big is the average plugin folder?
  7. Power lines!

Zeldafan, I think you mean "definitely" not "defiantly." But, I agree that having multiple styles of powerlines would be awesome.
  8. I actually think the fact that the trees "regenerate" lacks realism. In a real forest, trees will not all disappear and regenerate at the same time. I have had this very same problem and it annoys the heck out of me because plopping trees that don't grow through a growth cycle is unrealistic also. And actually as I type this I had an idea. What if you (or I) planted each tree at a different spaced interval, that way they don't always regenerate at the same time. So lets say that the life cycle is 40 years and you want to plant a 100 trees. Plant 20 at time zero, 20 more at year 5, 20 more at year 10 etc.... A bit tedious I realize, but it could provide the realism we crave and keep the growth cycles.
  9. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Yes, I don't want to stop the mansions completely but I just want to slow them down a little.
  10. Can't find it?... Ask here!

I recently started a new region and I am getting an unrealistic amount of r$$ and r$$$ houses popping up. Also a few c$$$ buildings. At a population size of 3,000 with the only civic service being a small fire station I am getting well over 50% of my houses being at least r$$ with I'd estimate 10-15% being r$$$. On my previous region I would only spawn r$$$ when I had offered all of the civic services (police, fire, garbage, water, schools, parks, etc...). What gives? Is there a mod that I can download to fix this or perhaps a mod that increases high wealth spawning that I might have downloaded from STEX and need to remove? Thanks
  11. Not trying to be picky here, but proteins do not make nucleotides. Nucleotides, or which there are 4 (A,T,C,G), are the building blocks of DNA/RNA and are composed of 3 molecular components: a sugar backbone (deoxyribose or ribose which determines if it is DNA or RNA), a phosphate chain, and a nitrogen base (determines if it is A/T/C/G). Also, the central dogma of biology is like this DNA --> RNA --> protein --> biological function. Sorry, as a scientist something like this worries me to death haha. Excellent job on the CJ so far.
