Hi all I've been, for the past few weeks, messing around with jobs multiplier mods. I started with industry doubler by @Bones1 specially for the farm jobs, which seemed to be working. However decided to expand to the other industrial types and noticed that while the mod was in effect with its double resource use, it wasnt providing the jobs increase. I tried to install the Industry Quadraluper by @toroca which seems to no be working at all. I went back to the Doubler and confirmed that for sure it is not working. I loaded my citys and saved them, but to no avail. Thank you in advance

Asking this since I want to make demographically realistic cities. I used Residential Halver for a more realistic population density on a new region for the first time today and I was happy to see that I could easily fill a 4x4 tile with low density residential zones with plenty of demand to spare and with little use of agricultural zoning as there was no more demand when I had about 10k residents who were mostly low wealth and little low density commercial zoning. The tile I'm currently working on at the moment looks something like 75% low density res, 10% low density com, and 15% agriculture more or less. At around 30k in I had enough $$ and $$$ population for dirty to high-tech industry to build up, but I ended the game just as they started developing since I uninstalled IRM incorrectly (didn't put the .dat file in a folder) and found dirty industry in high density. It was also at this time that I figured that it was a great time to research if I had to get the Industry Quadrupler, which T Wrecks recommends, or the Industry Doubler. I've been using the Industry Doubler a few months or so after I started playing SC4 in 2017. However, I've still been sprawling hard on industry with it to the point where I had this one main tile on a region I played on for a week recently where the areas being zoned industrial were more than the areas being zoned residential. The Industry Quadrupler feels like cheating to some, so I hope that Residential Halver + Industry Doubler isn't that different from having the Quadrupler and no Residential Halver mod with regards to realism (with the exception perhaps of the power and water consumption). I am willing to try it if it ends up being better for what I'm trying to achieve though All suggestions are welcomed and appreciated

Greetings denizens. I hope you're all well. I am in the process of rebuilding my plugins folder. I've installed CAM and the IRM base pack (CAM version). I am tossing up about whether to install the IRM Addons. I gather from this thread over at SC4Devotion (https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=16824.0) that it is not possible for me - an average schmuck SimCity player - to modify the buildings in PIM-X. So I've given up on that ambition. At this stage, I have four questions: 1. I don't need these addon packs, do I? My understanding is that they introduce new varieties of mech and out lots. But I will already have the benefit of the mech and out lots that came with the IRM base pack, right? 2. If I do install these addons, how out of sync will they appear relative to the CAM growth stages? The thumbnails show some tanks and small buildings that, I imagine, would look fairly reasonable when placed next to an anchor building of any growth stage. 3. Is the standard edition, or the quadrupler edition more in line with the CAM growth stages? I assume the quadrupler version aligns most closely with the CAM. 4. Finally, I took a look at some of the addon lots in PIM-X, and I'm a little confused. I looked at a random lot, for instance the I-D-3 small tanks lot (Standard edition) and it said it contained 10 jobs (that's what capacity satisfied means, right?). Then I looked at the I-D-3 small tanks lot (quadrupler edition) and it said it contained 40 jobs. Now, if I had the quadrupler mod installed alongside the quadrupled lot, wouldn't I end up with a lot that has 160 jobs? Thank you in advance. I've been playing for years, and using other people's mods for years, but I've only just started using PIM-X and the Reader in the last week, so this is all very new and terrifying to me.

I have a question about simply putting a mod into my game that shows a higher number.(This is for SimCity 4 Delux) I really don't want to physically increase the population of my city - I've just always had a beef with the unrealistic population graph. So i just want an eye-candy number to see for a city. Example of before: Population 100,000 Example of after: Population 500,000
