I have a glitch which prevents me from adding any NAM puzzle piece and gives me the red arrow and high speed rail glitch. Is there any way to fix this glitch?

I'll try to make this as succinct as I can. I've reinstalled the NAM because I wanted to change some features. (I uninstalled the previous installation first.) Years ago there was double track/rail available for trains, but apparently that no longer exists in NAM...? Regardless, I couldn't find the double tracks I was used to working with years back, so I resigned myself to the fact that I'd have to deal with single rail and forget about continuing the railroad of a prior city I'd been working on way back when. The problem I'm having is that I can see how to use the puzzle piece for ground level single rail, BUT...I can't find the straight piece I'm supposed to use to drag from the starter piece. So the point of this topic is....help, please. How do I get single rail layed out? EDIT: Never mind. Just ignore what I said. I apparently need glasses (or perhaps to look a bit more closely), but I didn't realize double track IS still part of the game. It's the DTR. DUH!! And I figured out you lay DTR over the single track starter piece, and voila.

This "building" (if we can call it that) cropped up in one of my SimCity4 cities today, but I don't know what it is. It appears to be invisible except for a 1-story facade store front, but from the stats, it must be a huge office tower, but transparent. Anyone have any idea where this came from?

What does this do? Fixes a serialization bug that could corrupt the savegame, particularly when mods are installed that modify existing exemplars (i.e. Prop Pox). Resolves a crash-to-desktop when hovering NAM puzzle pieces over transit-enabled lots. Allows other DLLs to load into SC4's memory without a GZCOM framework. Requirements This fix is made for versions 640 and 641 of SimCity 4 on Windows. Version 640 is a fully-patched SC4 retail copy, and version 641 is a fully-patched digital distribution version (i.e. Steam, Origin, GOG). Although v641 is supported, it has only been officially tested on Steam. Installation Unzip to Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins. To see if SC4Fix is working properly, check the title of your game window. If you are playing in fullscreen mode, alt-tab out and hover over the SimCity taskbar icon. The titlebar will show "SC4Fix (version #)" if loaded properly. Repairing cities already affected by Prop Pox Thanks to kingofsimcity for these instructions: In the region view, open the graphics settings and change City Detail to Low. Close and relaunch SC4. Open the offending city tile and save immediately. Exit to region without saving and change City Detail back to High. Close and relaunch SC4. Open the offending city tile and save again. Demonstration Click here for a video showing the ability to hover puzzle pieces over transit-enabled lots with this DLL. Development Thread and Source Code Development Thread Source Code -
<p>It would be amazing if someone could direct me to a tutorial on how to make puzzle pieces, and of course how to make a lot for them (2 networks). I would like to make HSR over road pieces, and could easily do the lotting if somebody helped me make the actual pieces.</p>
