Simply place this file in the same directory as the original file (You can remove the original if you wish). This patch removes the jobs from the "OLD" OWW Seaport Village, random shops only.

A variation off of the CDK-OWW Ferry Landing, this version is designed specifically for use with the PEG CDK Seaport Village collection. This is a fully functional, new ferry terminal. It does not replace the original game ferry terminal and can freely be used with them; CDK Ferry Landing on one side... traditional Ferry Terminal on the other. The PEG Ferry Landings have the same plop & maintenance costs as the original as well as the same capacity. But that's where the similarities end. The Ferry Landing is wider but shallower in size (4x3 tiles vs. 3x5 tiles) and is transit enabled to allow avenues to connect directly to it... instead of the roads used on the original. This should ease some traffic issues associated with the default ferries that can lower desirability and mayor ratings. Optionally, you can place a road perpendicular to the lot and connect to this with high-volume one-way streets, roads or even streets. This variation uses the Seaport Random Shops props which allow the two shops on the lot to be randomly different on each lot. The shops will also blend seamlessly with any adjacent Seaport Village lot, forming a continuous shopping strip/structure. In contrast to the original terminal, the Ferry Landing is a CDK lot which does not protrude several tiles out into the water. As the water depth is generally shallower nearer the shore, care must be taken to ensure that the water depth is deep enough for the ferry to operate. If it is not, the ferry will not function. ( * see ReadMe file Developer's Notes for more details) ** Special thanks to BarbyW, Andreas, Blackbeard, ParadiseFarm, & Swamper77 for their assistance during the development of this project. ** Use of the CDK Leveler Tool is recommended for use with all CDK lots. The PEG CDK-SV Ferry Landing requires installation of the PEG CDK-SV (Seaport Village) style and has these specific dependencies which most users of the CDK already have installed: PEG CDK-REC PROP-PAK Vol1 PEG CDK-OWW Development Kit Vol1 PEG CDK-SV_PlazaPak1 PEG CDK-SV Random Shops All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

What do you get if you toss the Pond Kit, the Stream Kit & the CDK into a paint mixer and let it run for an hour? Well, initially you get something that looks like a horrible Star Trek transporter accident !! But if you let that mixer run and extra hour or two, you eventually wind up with a viable means of transitioning the PEG Ponds & PEG Streams into the game's oceans... via the CDK. Adding the CDK in this fashion serves to mask a multitude of potential graphic sins & bugs inherent anytime props and textures go into the water. We will continue to pursue a non-CDK solution as well... but for those anxious to run their pond rivers and streams down to the sea, you now have a means to make it happen. Included are 4 new lots; a single CDK Stream lot and 3 CDK Pond lots (left, right & center). Streams are limited to a single tile in width but rivers made from the Pond Kit can be a wide as you want. These are CDK-OWW (Old Wooden Waterfront) lots and plop just like any other 2-tile deep CDK lot. They will appear in the Water Transportation menu along with the other CDK-OWW lots. Like most CDK lots, they have pricing & properties similar to a small plaza. To accommodate the fact that 92.3% of all CDK lots have a road running along their inland side, conditioned with the fact that 63.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot... these lots also have an appropriate Bridge-End modeled into their inland side. This will allow you to seamlessly continue any street/road/avenue you have running along your waterfronts. The transition lots are packaged into separate files; one for the Streams and one for the Ponds. After installing, you can easily remove one or the other if you do not use either the Ponds or the Streams. **These lots require the installation of the PEG CDK-OWW Development Kit Volume 1. Additionally, you should also have the Deluxe Editions of the PEG Pond & PEG Stream kits installed. The SV Plaza Pack 1 includes 4 new small plazas to can be used to fill gaps around various Seaport Village lots and enhance the appearance of your Seaport Village complex. Although designed for the Seaport Village, the of course can be used stand-alone anywhere in your cities. All of these plazas have the same properties of a normal small plaza. They will appear in your Water Transportation Menu along with other Seaport Village lots. These are especially useful when mixing CDK-OWW lots, which are 2 tiles deep, with the 3 tile deep Seaport Plaza lots. These plazas use the same texture as the CDK-REC & CDK-OWW styled lots and can be used to enhance those waterfronts as well ** Keep in mind that many Seaport Village lots provide jobs and as such must have access to roads. If you block that access with these plazas or any other lots, the lots with jobs will soon become abandoned and distressed. This pack includes the following: 1. 1x1 SV Plaza - A simple small plaza in the Seaport Village style. Includes a custom central planter-bench with modified seated automata that removes the chairs that accompanied them. 2. 1x1 Deluxe Plaza - A small plaza featuring the lighted tree common to many CDK lots. 3. 1x1 Parking Plaza - A simple, transit enabled parking lot that can be used with many CDK styles. 4. 1x1 Medallion Plaza - A plain plaza featuring a mosaic of the official Seaport Village compass logo. These Food Court Plazas will add a festive splash of color to your cities as well as provide your Sims with a much appreciated place to park their butts while grabbing a quick bite or just hanging out with friends. They were designed for use with the Seaport Village, but can be used anywhere you would place a normal plaza. In fact, they work so well on their own that they have been placed in your Park Menu next to the game's default plazas. There are 3 Food Courts included; small (1x1), medium (2x2) and large (3x3). Each Food Court has properties that are identical to the corresponding sized default plaza. The 1x1 Food Court has the "L" shaped planter on one side only and can be used to create larger Food Courts or custom snack and picnic areas. Dependencies: None. Our first add-on pack for the PEG CDK Seaport Village allows you to add more shops along the waterfront and expand your seaside commercial village to almost any size you want. The 1x wide lot randomly features one of 4 different Seaport Village styled shops that can be used stand alone or with other Seaport Village lots. For added versatility, these shops are two sided with storefronts front & rear... the waterfront on the front side and a plaza at the rear. But wait... that's not all!! Not only are the buildings random... but so are the business' and shops that occupy them. With a new random code routine, the shop names and description randomly change when the lot is queried. This sucker's so random we couldn't nail it down with a box of 16 pennies and maul!! Still not enough? How 'bout if we throw in four extra lots which fixed versions of the 4 shops? The names and descriptions will still change but you can choose the shop type to plop for more direct control when creating your village. You still want more? Man, yer tough! Okay... how 'bout if we make them so they can be plopped together seamlessly to form larger shopping structures of any size? That's right! A build-your-own nautical shopping center as large as you want. Mix and match the shops, pack them together to form long shopping strips or break them apart to allow plenty of pedestrian access. The choice is yours... build it anyway you want!! More? (sigh) Oh, get real! Okay.. our final offer. If you haven't noticed from the pics above, these puppies can also be used with the PEG Pond & Stream Kits!! That's right, Kiddo... if the sea ain't your bag or your city is landlocked, no problem!!. Build your village along a PEG river or lake or just add some streams & ponds along the village to give it that nautical theme. Just 'cause yer a land lubber doesn't mean that you should miss out on the fun. Okay, so we got the Seaport Village Random Shop lot, with random shop names & descriptions, plus the 4 selectable shop lots, seamless collective modular plopping, and versatile ocean or inland PEG Pond plop capability... and, oh yeah, each shop employs up to 24 local folk and provides income from taxes. All for the low, low single payment price of one simple download! Our first specialty lot for the new CDK Old Wooden Waterfront style is the classic Seaport Village. Commonly found in most commercial ports and harbors in one form or another, the nautical themed shopping area and tourist attraction is always a winning combination and popular with locals and tourists alike. Our Seaport Village is a CS$$$ lot offering jobs and income from taxes. The city will need to fork out some cash to get it going but its a private enterprise and free to the city once built. This lot is designed for use with the PEG-CDK OWW style lots... but can be used stand alone or with any of the other CDK style lots. It sits on a 6x3 tile lot, is transit enabled, and provides CS$$$ jobs and income from taxes. The beautiful, large yacht is also privately owned and a source of great mystery. The word on the dock is that it's the private party yacht of the Mayor but nobody seems to know for sure... or if they do, they're not talking. But whoever owns it is one lucky son-of-a-seadog, that's for sure. This lot is the core piece of a series or add-on components in the works that will expand the Seaport Village into a much larger and ever-growing seaside shopping complex and tourist attraction. Add-on lots will be designed to expand The Village along the waterfront as well inland away from the water... so be sure to leave room in your cities. This lot is designed for use with the PEG-CDK OWW style lots... but can be used stand alone or with any of the other CDK style lots. It sits on a 6x3 tile lot, is transit enabled, and provides CS$$$ jobs and income from taxes. There are two unique stats listed in the query; Postcards Sold This Month & Reported Seagull Bombings. The Postcards Sold value is dictated by the city's population. The larger the city... the more postcards that will sell. Seagull Bombings are influenced by the current Mayor Rating and you can use this to gauge your performance.. The higher the rating, the fewer the bombings. If fewer than 25 bombings are reported, then you are doing a pretty good job.. **This lot requires the installation of the PEG CDK-OWW Development Kit Volume 1 & PEG CDK-REC Prop Pack Volume 1 which are also available here at this site. Pegasus Productions is pleased to release an all-new CDK style that will bring the romance and history of the sea to your cities. Somewhere between the sun bleached planks and the creosote covered pilings, you can almost hear the creaking of the beams as the Old Wooden Waterfront stands as a monument to man's never-ending quest to tame the world's oceans. Our initial release is a purely commercial venture with 8 new seawall-plaza lots designed to promote commercial development along your shorelines. The rustic, nautical theme is a proven winner in attracting large crowds to shopping and tourist attractions... and you can now put that to work in your cities. Whether they are freely mixed in with other CDK styles or used exclusively on their own, these seaside plazas will really boost your commercial development. With the exception of the seaside Parking Lot Plaza, which also functions like a parking garage and promotes the use of mass transit in residential areas, these lots are all small, medium or large plazas and priced accordingly. They have the same properties and costs as their default game counterparts. All are transit enabled for pedestrians with the Parking Lot being enabled for auto traffic as well and requiring road access. As with all new CDK-OWW styled lots, you will have the option to 'fine tune' their appearance by installing one of several STYLE files that alter the front facade of the seawalls globally throughout the game. These STYLE files are included with the PEG CDK-OWW Development Kit Volume 1 and several new styles are under development that can be 'plugged-in' at any time. This install contains the following lots: 1. 1x2 Seaside Plaza (small plaza) 2. 1x2 Seaside Plaza w/ access ramp (small plaza) 3. 1x2 Seaside Plaza w/ fountain (small plaza) 4. 1x2 Seaside Parking Lot (small plaza & reduced 1/2 capacity parking structure) 5. 3x2 Seaside Fountain Plaza (large plaza) 6. 1x2 Public Pier (medium plaza) * Extends 4 tiles into the water. 7. 2x2 Inner Corner Plaza (medium plaza) 8. 2x2 Outer Corner Plaza (medium plaza) **These lots require the installation of the PEG CDK-OWW Development Kit Volume 1 All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

Although this file is intended primarily as a dependency for future PEG-CDK OWW (Old Wooden Waterfront) lots, it can also be used by lot developers to create their own CDK styled lots. The official CDK-OWW lots use these component props as do other lots designed to be compatible with this style. The kit contains the following props: 1. Front Facade - Basic 2-post, no fascia. 2. Front Facade - Basic 2-post, board fascia. 3. Front Facade - Basic 2-post, brick fascia. 4. Front Facade - Basic 2-post, stone fascia. * Basic 2-post facades do not have the center pilings extended above the deck area. These are designed for use with the Chain Rail prop to act as a stanchion or safety rail which would be suitable for REC and COM related lots. 5. Front Facade - Basic 4-post, no fascia. 6. Front Facade - Basic 4-post, board fascia. 7. Front Facade - Basic 4-post, brick fascia. 8. Front Facade - Basic 4-post, stone fascia. * Basic 4-post facades have the center pilings extended above the deck area. These are not designed for use with the Chain Rail prop and would be more suited to IND applications. ** All Facade props can also be used on the side and rear of the seawall if desired. 9. 16x16 (single tile) Outer Corner Deck Platform. This is the same 1x1 deck included in the CDK-REC pack except that the wood decking is angled for use on outer corners. 10. 16x16 (single tile) Inner Corner Deck Platform. This is the same 1x1 deck included in the CDK-REC pack except that the wood decking is angled for use on inner corners. 11. 1x1 Deck Platform with Stairs. Similar to the standard deck prop, but with inset stairs intended for use on the backside of the seawall. 12. 14x1 Chain Rail. A nautical styled safety rail intended for use with the Basic 2-post facades. 13. Public Pier. A long slender wooden pier that extends beyond the lot out into the water. 14. Wood Ramp. Intended to be placed on the backside of a seawall to provide access from the area below. MISSION CRITICAL: Also included are 4 STYLE files. One of these STYLE files must be installed somewhere in your Plugins folder. The STYLE files define which facade style fascia/facade (Brick, Boards, Stone, or none.) the seawalls will use globally throughout the game. Only one STYLE file can be installed at a time. You can easily change styles at any time by removing the existing STYLE file from your Plugins folder and installing a different one. ** The game's Shadows should be set to High when using the Pilings (no fascia) style. The shadows conceal the lack of visual texture behind the pilings which can expose the underlying game grid when the game's water graphics bug is tripped off. All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.
