DESCRIPTION This file contains two new Track Checker vehicles, based on the Amtrak 'P-Trak' Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) concepts. For forward-thinking majors and/or those who prefer a futuristic feel to their cities, the single DAT contains one REPlacement for the vanilla TC, and an ADDitional version. Each vehicle has a high quality texture and nightlighting. INSTALLATION Drag the file into your 'Plugins' folder. To remove, delete or move the file out of your 'Plugins' folder. COMPATIBILITY This file will replace the default track checker, if you are using another track checker mod then the load order will be important, but it is down to the player which REP from either pack is overwritten. The additional Track Checkers are unaffected and will co-exist. DEPENDENCIES No dependencies. More trains and progress pics can be found in my workshop:- 4 Reviews

First, i would like to give credit to Oppie for his model, Frogface for his FF KTX reskin of Oppies model, all I really had to do was add the acela logo. Bigredfish for his amtrak models that I used in it. The Acela Express is normally called just the Acela to stop confusion.It is a high speed train that runs on the NorthEast Corridor. Over halfof its revenue is from passangers from Boston to New York. Try to use Fukuda's Catenary rail to make it look realistic. Please leave all comments and suggestions, and please rate! -

A set of Amtrak single-deck passenger cars, representing the variety usually seen on trains traveling in and out of New York City. Here's what you get: * 2 Amfleet-1 Cafe Cars in phase 3 and phase 4 paint. * 2 Amfleet-2 Coach cars in phase 3 and phase 4 paint. * 1 Heritage "Shorty" Baggage car. * 1 Heritage Coach * 2 Heritage Diners * 1 Horizon Coach * 1 Viewliner Sleeper ------ == 10 unique cars, each with its own realistic night lighting. There are four original-replacement Coach cars, plus an extra add-on version of each car in the set, so you can use all of them at the same time, and mix/match with my other sets. UPDATE to Version 3.11 (31-05-04): * Added an FP40 in original Phase 1 colors. * Corrected P3 Genesis to match the others * Darkened the running boards and horn on the Dash unit. A set of five Amtrak locomotives. There are five different models, all of which come in original-replacement and extra add-on versions. Two of the locomotives (the F40PH and the Genesis-P3) are borrowed from Trolca's Train Set. They have been rescaled to match my other work, and I have enhanced the night-lighting. As usual, much credit is due to Trolca for the R&D and base models behind all this, and for his graciousness in allowing me to borrow from his library.- 27 Comments
