i think sc3k's tiles are the same measurement. I dont care what it is EA/Maxis says, just you look at the buildings. one side of a square looks like 50 feet to me. but the size of sims-cars-buildings are all out of whack anyway. -

Each big tile is 2.42 miles a side (very slightly bigger than Silur's meter size) for relation- Chicagos downtown takes up 5 miles of shoreline itself, thats two large city tiles just for downtown Chicago. Honestly its not that big of a city. So a large city tile is quite small, close to nothing. -

I was thinking about using it. I was hoping that it would add stages to the current 8 stages so i could grow higher and more dense. Turns out it just breaks down the current stages. I still dont understand its point. Im not looking for realism, just possibility. Plus if it takes 1.5 hours now to build a skyscraper filled city, whats next? youre done arent you? nothing left to do. -

Theres whole set of smaller lots by duke87 that includes the smaller airports. (3 by 4 international) you can download it at the link BUT* delete the files you dont want before extracting the files from .zip. anyone ask for a mod that changes the lot underneath the monorail to a concrete lot? instead of that ugly grass patch. since theyre only used in the city mostly anyways a mod for just the lotting wouldnt hurt anything. -

Simfox, I would put money on your answer. Its so sad how its true about the "stupid consumer." I can't stand how dumb things have gotten today. Though I really think its since THEY dropped the ball, WE picked it up.They gave up on it first.

Okay ive tried to take time to BAT before and I just cant take the time out for it. So this is for the people that enjoy it and have no idea what to do next. I just don't think that previous similar buildings have done justice for the exempted pyramid tower on the Game cover. heres my vision, The base is yours to come up with as its really going to be yours anyway. I believe "things" exist. How they came about does not matter to me. We are here, "God" is not. Now lets all cry out with tears running down our faces that we cant put ourselves onto a pedestal because some god made us priority above all other forms of life in existence to be most important. Lets just kill eachother...I think that made sense and explains my idea.

The only time I had that exact problem was when I changed the screen resolution in the game to a res that my monitor didnt use. I could never bring up the res option to change it so i had to re install. Now i know you can manually set it from altering the .exe file by clicking on the icon on desktop, let me know if you wanna try (should already be set to 1024x768) -Sparky's displaying the best cartoon ever drawn. If only we could get watterson to do it again. -

I am definately surprised at the ages of 30+ members here. At least now i wont feel so alone when im 30 and still playing, Im 22 now. Ive been around and about the forums for longer than ive been a member. Ive spent an accumulated 500 hours on the game I am sure, and I still love it. Ive been married for 3 years and just had my daughter come into the picture. When I actually have spare time or force it.., I will spend time on my cities or fulfill my dream of another creation. A knight Rider replica, which is almost halfway done. All thanks to my job as a truck driver that lets me have a decent lifestyle without using too much of my brains. lol. great to have gotten to know a little about all of you. -Brannon from Michigan (hate it)
