  1. I really love my citizens, like any good ruler.
    But, boy, are they stupid!
Good luck getting to work! *

  2. ANZ World Headquarters, Melbourne VIC

Beautiful landmark, nice building, I think I will put it in my city right now. Thank you, my city has gone bankrupt. The budget with that building lasted as long as a fart in a cage. 1,000,000 per month of maintenance? They wipe their asses with Egyptian silk and flirt with secretaries by throwing gold bars at them! When I saw that the budget were dropping down like a stone, I almost had a heart attack! The parameters must be modified. The building is unsustainable for any mayor, in this or any other world.
  3. This one, Quigley Insurance and the Gold Tower... but this one in particular. It's a cool fictional skyscraper bet.... I liked it so much and it brought back so many memories, I even dedicated a drawing to it. Clearly Kong is a reference to the ape... So I decided to rename it The Packard Building. Packard in honor of automobiles, imagining that this brand in a parallel universe would be able to compete with Chrysler... partly because of that and partly because as an audience of the Hey Arnold series, I wanted to design new buildings and locations for Hillwood City, the fictional city of the character. Grandpa Phil's car gave me the Packard idea... and the fact that the Kong Tower may also be a nod to the Chrysler Building led me to this conclusion. I did the same with Quigley Insurance and the Gold Tower as shown in the third image. Quigley Insurance I renamed it the Lockheed Tower. What would have happened if Howard Hughes had done very well? Well, it would probably have its own rockefeller center-style complex of buildings. (or at least that's how I imagined it). And the Gold Tower I called Florence Plaza. A glamorous commercial tower with allegories of Venetian nobility. All to make a homage the design of this SC3000 cool skyscrapers. End of the press release, have a nice weekend.
  4. Very good, Since my knowledge of lot modeling and stuff is nil, but I like what the community does regardless of whether I download it or not, to contribute my bit, I can give ideas, since I know many interesting buildings, more in Buenos Aires, where I reside. Either to take inspiration or to make a reliable model of these buildings. As a first example of this proposal, the Palacio Barolo (Barolo Palace), also called Barolo Passage. It is a characteristic building of Capital Federal, and its peculiarity is that it has a revolving beacon in its highest part. The general division of the Palace and the Divine Comedy is in three parts: hell, purgatory and heaven. The nine access vaults represent the nine steps of initiation and the nine infernal hierarchies; the lighthouse represented the nine angelic choirs. Above the lighthouse is the constellation of the Southern Cross which is seen aligned with the axis of Barolo on the first days of June at 19:45 hours. The height of the building is 100 meters and 100 are the cantos of Dante's work; it has 22 floors as many as the verses of the Divine Comedy. The architecture is quite elaborate, especially because of its inspiration, but it is also very interesting and a very pleasant building to see. Day and night. It should be noted that the beacom on its tip is lit only on specific days and important celebrations. I wish they would turn it on every night lol. And closing this intervention, images of the site. I hope this will attract the attention of someone for their projects, and above all, it will be useful to them! Best regards!
  5. RisingSun Oil Refinery

I thank you for the content of these two users. The funny thing is that I searched at the time for Cape Hatteras lighthouse... and no results were listed. LOL Now I have it, thanks to you. Thanks a thousand times! I also downloaded some more dependencies, and although there are some batches out there whose ground has no textures, it's getting better for the moment. As for the refinery: - Flare Staks models is still the same as always, I found no new ones outside of the ones we already know between that files. - I have not yet seen any model of a delayed cokering unit so far. Anyway, they are accessory things that could be done someday. I like the way it looks. I also downloaded the 3d camera mod, although it deforms the buildings, it's entertaining lol And... yes, I recently saw “Shawshank Redemption” and I liked the prison design. I tried to emulate it. I wouldn't want to be locked up in that thing. Well, it's being very entertaining. Best regards!
  6. RisingSun Oil Refinery

Interesting!! I will keep an eye on them, thanks for the data!
  7. RisingSun Oil Refinery

I'll be honest with you: I downloaded all the files concerning this refinery, even the pipelines and the first flarestack made from a chimney from the base industry of the game
  8. RisingSun Oil Refinery

Good! Certainly now that you mention it, there is a sound that the refinery generates that is like sticky oil hahaha! It never seemed like a bad thing to me. I attributed it to the mod, as a sound that reminds you of “everything this lot pollutes”.
  9. RisingSun Oil Refinery

Wow, great! It's good news to have found you guys! After making the main comment it occurred to me to convert the game's own buildings into dependencies, then, the invisible parts of the lot appeared! I saw that the Rising Sun Refinery it's now updated to a new version, I'm going to download it and install it as well! Thanks a lot!! In the hypothetical case that someone out there is interested in further expanding this petrochemical lots, a topic I really like about these industrial facilities, are two things: Flare Stacks and Delayed Cokering Towers. I already have the Flare Stack that doubles as a fire station... great work there! There are several models of flare stacks in real life, it would be interesting to be able to get other variants... I swear I would fill the map with them lol And I think anyone who wants a refinery in their game will want to have them all. Even in nighttime lighting, it would add to the flame a texture of intense glow. It would be quite nice! I've loved these things since Blade Runner... and my travels where they were. Another thing about the refineries (and there is nothing about these) and that are a really attractive aspect of these industries, are the Delayed Cokering Units. Petroleum coke is extracted there. It's kind of like a furnace or something. These towers are usually, after the torches, the point of the refineries that catches my attention the most (and the highest). As far as these cokering units are concerned, there is nothing for SimCity 4 yet... so I raise it if there is anyone interested in creating them. I would do it, but I don't know how and I don't have space on my pc lol. That's all I can offer, ideas. I hope someone will find it useful. I appreciate the quick response and attention, a big, big hug to all! Happy New Year, all year long!
  10. RisingSun Oil Refinery

I am playing SimCity 4 in 2024. Yeah, I'm very late to the party lol. I downloaded this lot, which has been one of my favorites for years. But I notice with this and other of your models that part of them appear incomplete to me. Storage tanks and maybe other things are missing. It also happens to me with other batches after Rising Sun. No doubt the problem is mine, but I want to know what it is. It's like I'm missing dependencies, I don't know. I don't think anyone will answer at this point, but I don't lose anything by trying. Merry Christmas!
  11. Buenos Aires Pack

It's a great set of lots. I've seen the Alas Building elsewhere in Simtropolis, but to tell the truth there are some very beautiful buildings in my Buenos Aires. The Barolo Palace, the Roccatagliata Building, the Ministry of Defense building, the Railroad Building, the Otto Wulff, the Post Office Palace, The city Legislature, the Water Palaces... also some more modern ones like the towers of Puerto Madero, like the YPF tower of César Pelli (Argentine architect, who designed the Petronas Towers in Malaysia). Let alone outside the city, such as Luján. Of all of them, Lujan and the Barolo Building (Especially for the revolving beacon at its highest point that would give it a magic ticket in big cities!!!) would be the ones I would be most interested in acquiring in the game. I have no idea how to make them, but I think some modder might be interested in this info.
