  1. Narrow Lot NY Residentials - growify

Bravo, was looking for one pack that has this for my north American Cities. Can I modify their desc file and edit the building style ? I want to exlusively grow them in Chicago 1890.
  2. Who is the creator of website's banner ?

Wow Thank you @Cyclone Boom and props to @CorinaMarie for the region. What a sight to look at. I always like looking at vast built regions. They give you ideas on how to develop one. I'll sleep at ease now, knowing where the banner comes from hahaha. !
  3. Who is the creator of website's banner ?

    I don't think so.
  4. Hello everyone, Who's behind simtropolis' banner where we see a snapshot of a region ? I alwayys recognise it as I've seen it somehere in some City journal if I'm not mistaken. Would love to know. Thanks.
  5. Welcome to Helandia

No problem. What language do you speak, I can translate !
  8. Welcome to Helandia

Epic region ! Quick question, the tree controler you're using automatically creates the forest that way with those nice looking "crevasses" or do you do it manually ? While my tree controller does create variety according to my terrain and it looks quite nice, however I would like to make sure I'm not missing something.
  9. Let's write our own SC4 Building Styles

I'm all for anything. The mod itself is to die for. But if I had to choose, then option B is the better choice imo. It’s way more inclusive for modders, easier to fit different architectural styles without unnecessary restrictions and covers a much broader geographical range, including Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and different Asian regions. It’s also just simpler and more flexible. Instead of being locked into specific historical timeframes, modders have more freedom to categorize buildings in a way that makes sense. This means it’s future-proof and can easily adapt as more content gets created. If the goal is a system that works for everyone and allows for the most creative possibilities, I'll be voting option B.
  10. This is definitely important information to pass along! It would be a great addition to @Null 45's mod readme file to note that UI skin mods, like UI Blue Skin (z___scoty_blue-skin_000), are not compatible and will cause issues with the functionality of the mod. This would help other users avoid similar troubleshooting headaches.
  11. @CorinaMarie @Kel9509 Finally, I discovered the issue! It was caused by a UI mod I was using called UI Blue Skin (z___scoty_blue-skin_000). This file was interfering with everything. After deleting it, everything started working correctly. Now we know that UI skin mods are not compatible with this setup. I'm so happy it’s finally resolved—thank you all for the support! ❤️
  12. @Kel9509 It says : SC4MoreBuildingStyles v3.2.0 Installed the building select window patch. Installed the lot configuration manager patch. Installed the building style algorithm patch.
  13. What ! I'm really surprised it works. Then something is wrong. Here are the files in Documents/Simcity4/Plugins directory.
  14. @CorinaMarie 1. Yes I used Null's version from his github. 2. 15. @CorinaMarie Sorry to bother you once again. The old UI still loads with only the default four Maxis styles are visible. What I’ve Done So Far: Placed the required files in the correct locations: SC4MoreBuildingStyles.dll, SC4MoreBuildingStyles.ini, and BuildingStyles.ini are in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Plugins\ I also tried placing them in Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins\, but no change. The log file (SC4MoreBuildingStyles.log) is being created. This confirms that the .dll is loading correctly. However, my custom styles are not showing up in the UI. Updated BuildingStyles.ini to match my assigned style ID My BuildingStyles.ini currently looks like this: Tested with CoriBoom’s UI template (Z_CoriBoom’s 32 Slot Building Styles UI - v0.45.dat). The UI still shows only the original four styles. The additional styles do not appear. What I Need Help With: Does my BuildingStyles.ini look correct? How do I ensure that the game is actually using the new UI template and not defaulting to the original? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
