Thank you for your answer. The reason why I want to change ? Well, playing SC4 on a 13" screen, wearing glasses, is not really what you can called "comfortable" ! 21.5" will be much better for my eyes. That's the main reason. I know SC4 is going fine with Sierra, but I've seen there might be issues with High Sierra (someone is reporting grahic problems). Unfortunately, I can get an Imac wih High Sierra installed, but I can't get some with just Sierra (I'm talking about new products, not used ones). For the NAM, no problem, I will keep my Macbook, if needed I can install the NAM on it, then move the plugins folder to the Imac. The true concern for me is that I want to be sure that SC4 is OK with High Sierra. Trying in the shop before buying or sending back the product in case of problem is more theorical than practical, most shops now are "cash and carry" type, and by experience sending back a product is always a bit complicate (law is one thing, reality is another), and I'm at a point in my life where as soon as things are turning even a bit complicate, I run away! Age effect, probably ;-)

Thank you for the link. I was aware of that, and that's exactly the point for me: if I have to change from my current Macbook to a new Imac, I have to do it NOW, because for a few weeks I still have a chance to buy somewhere an Imac with Sierra or High Sierra installed (32 bits), next year it will be Mojave (64 bits) everywhere and SC4 will not work on it ! Most of tech shops in France are already selling Apple computers with Mojave installed. I hope some Mac users will post a specific answer, because I have to decide quick.

I've found one of them. One of the dome is : As suspected, the one I saw in a Cj was a relot from Paeng. I think I'll have to pay interest to LE ! Still looking for the other ones, any help will be welcome. No big hope, I think they also are relots,or props turned as standalone for custom custent...

simcity 4 Sharing Plugins Folders - Discussion

I've played SimCity in the 90's (SC2000), then forgot it for decades, and now I'm back in the game. I've spent the last 6 months dowloading add-ons every day, during hours - I mean litteraly, actually I think I've reviewed all Simtropolis and SC4Devotion pages at least twice each, not to mention any other "exotic" sites I've been able to discover, mostly japanese ones. I'm done now. I think I have at least around 1000 plugs (dependencies apart), may be more. Anyway, around 8/9 Go all included. What a job to collect, test, sort, organize all these files!!! So one could think that someone like me would be the perfect "client" for dowloading entire folders. Wrong ! 1 - Because sometimes I've kept LM version only, sometimes Commercial or Residential ones, sometimes both. Sometimes I liked just a small part of a set and I've throwed most files away. Also I've sorted all files by my own themes (obviously they will be different for another player), datpacked some, some others not. I don't think that full folders would have saved me time or pain, because a plugin folder is something very personal. 2 - For a new gamer, the second problem in dowloading entire folders of plugins is that in order to use your plugs, you have to know your folders and your menus like the back of your hand! Getting everything at once goes completly against the learning curve ! Okay, let's say you get hundreds of add-ons in one single download : and then ? How do you recognize their icons? Where are they located in the menus ? What are they doing in the game ? How do you have to use them ? For sure a new average gamer will be lost, and guess what ? He will probably give up, throw evrything out and forget about the game, thinking that it's too complicate to be played... or more funny, go back to the regular game and forget about plugins ! Proceeding step by step seems to be a better approach to my eyes. 3- Last but not least, communication between baters, lotters, gamers and site administrators will be lowered . This community is amazing, for what I've seen during the last months, behaviours from all parts are amazing. For once, something is going fine in this world, let's keep it as it is. Sometimes "better" goes worse than just "good". Regarding copyright concern, it's more a question of respect towards the authors (we must always keep in mind that all baters and lotters are doing all the work for free, it deserves full respect) than a copyright laws matter. Who cares about copyright laws in this case ? SC4 is a worldwide game, each country has its own laws, and anyway let's be serious... do you imagine an author hiring a lawyer and pursuing someone distributing for free some plugs on the Internet? For a 15 years old game ? It's a joke! What should be done and would be VERY helpful is: 1 - Folders for lost content from Japan, China, Poland, Brazil or whatever. Plugs, pictures and readme files on one side, specific dependencies on the other one, and the user does its own cooking once he has DL everything. 2 - Folders with custom content from great batters or lotters, for people that don't know how to use the LE or cannot do it (Mac players). You know, all these little things using props that can be seen here and there in CJs. May be a devoted thread on ST or SC4D coud also do the job for special requests. Just a thought... Hello everybody, I'm looking after a few small things: - The greenhouses are from RNP. and are available at SimCity china, but the DL file is locked for guests, and I do not have an ID to log in. If someone have it in his/her collection, it would be kind to forward it to me. - I'm pretty sure that the huts-shelters are props from the regular zoo. If someone has done it as standalone, I would appreciate if he/she can forward it to me. If not, I would really appreciate if someone could be kind enough to do it for me, as small as possible (I guess one tile), with a transparent base, and obviously not as a reward. - I don't know about the two domes, I guess same thing than for the huts, since both are coming from Paeng's CJ, and he was the king for custom content... Kisses for girls, handshake for guys ! ;-)

Well, usually everybody is looking at cheeting lots like something disgusting and "out of the game spirit". Actually it must be said that usually these lots look ugly at worse, and pretty common at best. This one is very sexy, indeed it's the sexiest I have ever seen, and for sure once plopped you can't miss it on the map ! As always with your lots, there's something different and very appealing. I rate it at the maximum, and will use it with no shame and moderation (and probably customize it a bit with LE Props to make it even more juicy ;-) Thanks for doing it.

I don't agree : It has already been done several time, that's right, but for once this is a nice lot and an easy one to blend in any city. Who cares about cheating ? This is a game, the purpose is pleasure, for my part I don't give a shit about city management, just about aesthetic, so I like this addition to the game. -
That's exactly what I was going to say ! However, in a slightly different way. Great Bat, very nice idea, and great design. But : - The tennis court should have much higher fences. - The Bat itself should have some kind of skywalk giving access to the Bat over the roundabout. Thank you anyway for your work and your addition to the game.
