  1. Entry 5 - Käkisalmi (Part 2; The Lumbermill and Surroundings)

Just amazing, love the Finnish vibe
  2. Entry 4 - Käkisalmi (Part 1; The City)

Bravo!!! I really love the whole vibe of the city, a tranquil, beautiful, and constantly cloudy town . I hope I can see much more!
  3. Full Resolution Panoramas Re-uploaded

Since the original links have expired, I re-uploaded the full resolution panoramas (day and night) of Culebra to Google Drive! Check it out Day: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NAZ5PTfvBg2DBdZVg1KmoAdS26XH2_7I/view?usp=sharing Night: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UTzeivRjkzwnQEua2Yw4YRVEp1x38Loq/view?usp=sharing Thumbnails: And here's something I'd like to say to you guys besides the files... Hey guys, how time flies! It's almost approaching the end of 2023, and I still remember the excitement when I first shared Culebra with you earlier this year. It's been a year of great changes for me in every aspect. I have graduated from my bachelor program and starting a new academic journey in a new country. So I did not and would not focus on the Culebra project for a foreseeable long time unfortunately . However, looking back, I played SimCity 4 for the 1st time in my dad's office in 2008 and I posted my very 1st CJ back in 2013, when I was quite a naïve boy who could not write down an English sentence without the aid of Google Translate (which was also much dumber than it is now). And after seven years I posted my second piece, Eureka. Then almost three years after that, Culebra was born. No matter how much time elapses, the impulse of creating "something beautiful" in the videogame masterpiece never fades away. And this website stands still through all these years, preserving an vibrant community for all SC4 lovers. I just wanna say that I feel rather blessed to meet you all at this crossroad, and I cannot guess what fate has in store, but I will never forget to return, be it in 1 year, 2 years, or even more. Bedankt!
  4. Penthesili Central Station

The central station is truly magnificent!
  5. Bahía Mosquito, Puerto del Manglar, Punta Almodóvar... y más!

Thank you TiBi, love your Heretic Projects!
  6. Many thanks to @tomz16, @JulioC, @nos.17, @Pille0503, @dragonsteincole, @TogaMasterJohn, @Dead_End, @mitsos, @Dgmc2013, @Leathershoes&corn, @Golan0, @Silur, @Tyberius06, @Odainsaker, @CaptCity, @CarstenB, and @juguesal for your likes, comments and follows! The Culebra project started in Jan. 2rd, 2023, and I am putting a pause on the further development of this city. Because I am returning to my campus to finish my undergraduate program, which means a lot of stuff await: thesis, preparation for postgraduate study... Simcity4 has always been a game that I enjoy the most, and the support from the community of Simtropolis has made the gaming process a even more wonderful adventure. I relish this experience and I will continue to build more cities at the right juncture in the future. Last week I have extended the city to more areas, and the construction in the current map is now complete. Without further adieu, let's take a look at them! Part 1: Pictures until 03/02/2023 Estación Central, Bahía Mosquito Zonas Residenciales, Bahía Mosquito El Volcán Puerto del Manglar Panorama Diurno de Culebra Panorama Nocturno de Culebra Part 2: Pictures until 06/02/2023 Punta Almodóvar Diurno Punta Almodóvar Nocturno Part 3: Panoramas! [UPDATE 09/10/2023] The original links have expired ¡Muchas gracias! TTK
  7. Bahía Mosquito, Gardens and Parks

@jakis, @tomz16, @Zeratai, @RaffAlbert, @Silur, @nos.17, @Odainsaker, @TogaMasterJohn, @Dgmc2013, @Golan0, @mitsos, @Dead_End, @Tyberius06, @CarstenB, @juguesal, thanks for your likes and comments for my last entry! This entry is about the extended area of Bahía Mosquito with a seaside park and a central garden in Punta Carenero. For Chinese players: I also posted this CJ on 贴吧, check it out! Torre Culebra, Bahía Mosquito Jardín de Carenero, Bahía Mosquito Parque Marítimo, Bahía Mosquito Isla de Pelá In my first entry of Culebra I created the Isla de Pelá which was full of debris and ruins. Now it's turned into a camping island!
  8. Bahía Mosquito, Playa Mosquito

Thank you for your comment! The "walls" are actually a river bank addon set called JENXPARIS Quais de Seine. Gracias por su comentario. Los "muros" son en realidad un conjunto addon orilla del río llamado JENXPARIS Quais de Seine.
  9. simcity 4 I • SUEMORI 末森

    素晴らしい!Excellent storytelling & pictures!
  10. Bahía Mosquito, Playa Mosquito

Many thanks to @RaffAlbert, @tomz16, @jakis, @Dgmc2013, @Odainsaker, @TogaMasterJohn, @CaptCity, @Golan0, @nos.17, @Silur, @Dead_End, @mitsos, @Tyberius06, and @CarstenB for liking my last entry of the port area of Almodóvar bay. And thanks to @Ke|is, @mitsos, @Dgmc2013, @CarstenB, and @Zeratai for your encouraging comments! I have extended the city to the area of Mosquito Bay. The Mosquito Bay area is still under development and I built the beach first since it is really interesting to do something slightly different than designs the blocks. I'll reveal other parts of the urban area after I finish it. Enjoy the beach now!
  11. Bahía de Almodóvar, Ciudad Portuaria

@dohraymii, @SimCoug, @mitsos, @CaptCity, @kkffoo, @Dead_End, @quadoxide, @Golan0, @Pille0503, @CarstenB Thank you for your likes for my first entry of Culebra! In this post I show you the urban area next the industrial port in the last post. The Polish style buildings are my favoriate kind and I plopped a lot of them in my city. I prefer take photoshoots of my city from a little distant view since I can get a more holistic view of my city. The downside is that I cannot produce many of them since it requires a lot of work. If you feel like seeing the city in detail, please leave a comment! *Culebra in real life is a Caribbean island in Puerto Rico. However I only took the names and map of the regions of Culebra. The in-game city is quite different from the real one in the style.
  12. Culebra, the very start

My last city journal, the city of Eureka, had been updated from 2020 to 2021. After a hard-drive incident, I lost all the savegames of Eureka so I decided to start a brand new city. Although the files of Eureka have been gone, the sim-residents of Eureka still live in my imagination, and they traveled a long way from the west coast of California to a Caribbean island, the island of Culebra, to reconstruct everything... Culebra in real life is a Caribbean island in Puerto Rico. However I only took the name and map of Culebra, the actual in-game city is quite different from the real one. Special thanks to Lucario Boricua for the wonderful map of Culebra! Click here to see the nautical chart of Culebra (in real life) Ruinas de Pelá: I started here initially since I wanted to build a lost Culebra with ruins and debris. But I eventually gave it up because I just found out I was keener on building a real city . So this is the only photo of the lost Culebra project. Bahía de Almodóvar: This is an industrial zone! If you had read my previous CJ entries you would know that I am not very familiar with this sort of style, but I always wanted to try it.
  13. TsengKun, you have totally exhausted my written Chinese.  Thanks for following me.  I tend not to post much, since I finished the utility I was coding for Simtropolis.  Oh yes, I could have set the output to simplified characters, but I am more used to traditional as it is what is used in TW/HK/MO.

你好!  對不氣你.  我寫的中文不太好!  我說普通話, 廣東話 比較好.

    我住在台灣.  但是, 我知道, 這裡是中國的地圖.

    我很高興認識你.

You too! Your utility SC4Ckpt is very useful :thumb:, and I am hoping to see more of your work!

  14. The End of Eureka

Thank you Kschmidt! I appreciate the backup tips you offered, I'll definitely be more careful next time.
  15. The End of Eureka

Thanks! I am glad at least someone other than myself enjoyed the cityscape. Maybe 1000 years later cyber archaeologists will be able to recover it from the digital dumphill . I am saddened by the fact that too many sad things happened in 2020 . But thankfully you and I have made it through! (until 2024 perhaps )
