  1. PEG Abyss Garbage Chute

This is a favorite and I use it often. It may not be the fanciest or prettiest but it certainly is the most fun. I never get tired of reading the background story...I'd love to see an entire city journal based on it, with Simlumbas, the Dragons, and the Abyss denizens...the whole deal.
  2. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!! DEPENDENCIES!

It is always good to have another angle described to better understand. In fact, I've recently come across an example of your long answer and it is, indeed, very cumbersome. Your explanation encouraged me to try again. I decided to just take the plunge and am currently braving the daunting task of downloading some CAM starter packs and their dependancies from SC4D. True, the site is not perfect (which site is?)and can sometimes be fustrating, but if one considers the massive amount of files they have and how quickly those files are updated and increased in number, one can certainly appreciate the mind boggling job they do of keeping track of all those dependancies for you. The more I download the more respect I have for the folks over there. Thanks, without you pointing me to see things from another point of view, I'd be missing out.
  3. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!! DEPENDENCIES!

Neddiggis...I knew there was a reason, otherwise it would already have been done, the BSC folks never miss a trick. When I do download from them I use that prop list religiously. But more details about the prop packs and how they are arranged helps in coordination with downloads, and I thank you so much for the deeper understanding.
  4. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!! DEPENDENCIES!

For new lots...is there a way to "include" the dependancy in the download instead of downloading the dependacy separately? I've seen this done by people who create both the lot and dependancies, but can it be done with someone else's dependancy (instead of an out-of-date link)? How about folks like PEG and SG? They link us to their prop packs for the lots they make, but can they include those prop packs as files within the new lot? What are the possibilities of someone taking the time to update SC4 devotion lots to be this way? (Wow! That would be mind boggling project!) I'm sure I'm not the first to have this idea, and it would probably have already been the trend if it was possible, but can the idea, at least, be rehashed? I love the SC4 lots but am unable to use them because of the extreame number of depencancies required for nearly each and every one.
  5. The Milk Production Factory

Your dependancy links are no longer valid. I checked SC4Devotion and it sends me to the STEX, but the STEX comes up with zero results. Where have they been moved to? The lot looks wonderful and I'd love to use it but need to find those dependancies. Thanks.
  6. Nexis of Genesis

I only discovered your CJ yesterday. It's one of the most fun things I've come across in a long time. I have a problem with many, many city screenshots not showing (just little red x's, too bad, I'm trying to learn by example). Even so, I am getting so much enjoyment just from the story and suspense, this is negligable. Usually, I go to sleep thinking of the stresses of the day or those of tomorrow. Last night I thought over several aspects of your story trying to connect the dots a figure out "what next?). It was a wonderful change and I had the best sleep in days. I've only made it through a few pages but am eager to read more (it was hard to turn off your story last night). I read tons of sci-fi, scientifically possible, totally off the wall fantasy and also in between. I just needed to let you know how much enjoyment I'm getting out of this and to applaud your brilliant imagination and thank you for sharing it with us. I'm sorry about your computer problems, I know how fustrating that can be. Good luck and come back soon.
  7. BSC Prop Packs and Textures.

I received the list just fine and didn't need the links. This will make using the lots so much easier and greatly less intimidating. Thanks to the team for all the fantastic lots. Thank you so much for sending this list!
  8. BSC Prop Packs and Textures.

Simgoober: Back in June you posted that you were working on a list of prop and dependancy packs. Have you been able to complete it? If so, where can I find it?
  9. NAM General Discussion Thread

When will these NAM updates begin showing up in the Modding Files section? It still has the Sept 4, 2004 version. These updates are difficult to find even when you know where to look! Any plans to some updates soon? Thanks.
  10. Unemployment Welfare Center

Go on...load your other lots. There is a range of realistic to completely-off-the-wall lots here. Yours just may be exactly what someone is looking for. Don't worry about criticism...you'll never please everybody, and may just get an idea on how to do something better or even new.
  11. The Altar of the Triforce

Love Zelda...love this lot. Also, most post comment first, then go back and rate. Otherwise, rating doesn't go through. Don't know why. Anybody?
  12. ULMcDonalds

Excellant idea! Different wealth versions is very convenient. Any plans to make other lots w/same format? Looks great, too. Thanks.
  13. Botanical Gardens Butterfly Garden

I got married in a similar butterfly hatchery in Florida. Too bad you couldn't put more plants on the inside--butterflies need lots of them--and more of a see-through effect on the dome. Perhaps sacrifice some outside plants for inside?
  14. BSC Alabaster Mosque

Definitely needed...and absolutely stunning as well. The mineret and inner courtyard are perfect touches. You sure did some homework for this one. Thanks for this beauty.
  15. Uniroyal Tire

One of the few things from visiting the World's Fair I can remember. Nice to know its still "alive". Don't know how I'll use it yet, but thanks.
