Intermittent Stuttering / Freezing In-Game?

I have recently noticed periods of slow downs and freezing in-game. The most common occurrences are when drawing rail networks, ESPECIALLY when upgrading to another type, 2-3 seconds of freeze per segment can happen. Move it also takes longer in placing or removing items at times. Unfortunately I've got a massive amount of mods and assets to sift through so was hoping to get some insight as to potential mod conflicts others have already resolved or discovered to compare against my own subscriptions as a starting point. Building Design Methodology: Using Lidar Imagery and GIS?

I am completely newb to 3D software and asset creation but am starting to fall into the deep rabbit hole of learning. Given the accuracy I'm sure most creators adhere to for matching their assets to the real structure, I was wondering if anyone here has utilized this path to extracting building data? As I work for a major municipality using GIS daily, we recently released a major set of satellite imagery and some googling showed me that extracting accurate building footprints and 3D dimensions is a huge benefit of LIDAR. If someone has gone this route for their building designs, what methodology could be used to then migrate that data into a usable base for 3D modeling software? Thinking about this also makes me generally wonder: If this is not a common method in getting accurate data for a future building asset, what are some of the more common ways in which creators ensure their designs are in fact "accurate?" Thanks for that! I still haven't decided on which software route to go when I start learning how to model. Blender seems the recommendation but far longer of a learning curve whereas Sketchup appears to be the bastard child although some of my favourite asset creators use it with no issue. I'll give Google Earth a try. There was also a video I stumbled upon where a person managed Importing 3D models from Google Maps -

Hello everyone! I'm slowly digging through getting myself more acquainted with all of the material related to modelling as creating some buildings is on my bucket list. Given that there are some fantastic creators on here that have added so much enjoyment to this game for me, I wanted to learn how to do the same. Presently, what has me curious is what sources of information or material do you guys utilize when recreating buildings in the real world? Some of these assets look like literal copies which makes me think that some modelers find actual drafting plans or some other form of official building specs. If that is not the case, what do you guys utilize to make sure your assets are "realistic?" Thanks so much!

I could easily get up to your number as well. For this reason one day I plan to turn most props/decals into PO's so I can get rid of those subscriptions. The difficulty here is that a lot of our needs with these assets can change. I figure I'm in for a VERY tedious trial and error process with this idea.- 7 Replies

I truly have no words. Just bloody spectacular. Is this based on any particular development within Poland? Lastly, did you have any screenshots of the build process?
