I was wondering if anyone has any sound issues before? The issue that I have run into is when I am playing one of my cities(not sure if it is all of them) the sound that blares through my speakers sounds almost like the Emergency Testing Signal that the TV and Radio stations do. Has anyone got this before? I have been playing sc4 a for a few years now and this has just started. Thanks in advance for any help

I know it has been awhile since I have responded to the thread that I created! But I have not had much time in the last 6 weeks to do anything but breathe. Just opened a new restuarant just before the holidays(it's not mine) so I have been working crazy hours. First, thank-you to everyone who has tried to help me out with my sound issues. The problem has not resolved to this day. I recently upgraded my RAM because I thought it may help me out somehow. But then again running XP the computer needed anyway. On Sunday I decided to re-install the game and hoped that everything would come out ok, but of course it did not. So here I sit with a noise that comes over to the speakers and I have decided to give up for the time being and play without any sound or music. I know sounds boring but I am out of ideas! Thunderman, Well the problem did not resolve itself when I moved everything back on my desk. But now I am getting an Warning Message from SimCity saying that plugin pack 835403974 is missing. Have you seen this before? I hope I don't have to reinstall SimCity because I don't want to lose my cities. Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I did re-arrange everything on my computer desk a few weeks ago. Everything is closer together then it used to be. I will try moving everything back to way it used to be then I will take it from there. I did download updated drivers as well to my sound card so that is probably not the issue. Thunder- You did ask what is that I am usually doing when this occurs and it happens when I am building or the game is running. Never does it in the regional view just the city views. Thanks for the help!
