Brilliant, found a bunch of interesting flora there to use, thanks. Unfortunately not the ones in the screens I think :/
3. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Thanks for the help. I switched to Meadowshire terrain mod which is "grassier", and indeed there was grass in NekoGrass MMP. But do you have any idea where the bushes and so on comes from? Been looking through the stex for a lot of bushes and MMPs and stuff, and haven't found anything like that yet.

My God, the city journals are killing me... so many awesome things. Could someone help me identify what kind of grass texture/all nature mod is being used in the following screenshots? Look next to and between the rail and roads/highways, the grass looks different than default and from what I'm currently using. Looks more.. unkept and perhaps more dark green (not only from the screens being darkened). Also looks like a lot of bushes etc (from Scrub brush? doesn't show up for me as much, perhaps because my grass texture). edit: Think it's the same grass visible here:
5. DINorthern Coastal (regional) Part III

Looks brilliant. Sorry for bringing up the constant question about the rice fields. Is that MAS71's JPN rice fields (the larger ones)? If so, how did you do those diagonal parts? I can't find any pieces like that, only the small triangle one. The NipponDenen one only give me rectangular pieces AFAIK. And can I ask, what terrain mod are you using? and/or do you use the shrub adder? Brilliant work edit: Found the correct rice fields. NekoRiceFields. http://hide-inoki.com/bbs/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=820 Still extremely curious about the terrain mod and flora, those bushes along the railway man.

Woho, thanks alot! Yeah, I found a bunch of NDEX low/mid ones when searching for those, good stuff. Thanks, I figured it out just a minute ago when I saw the actual apartment buildings pop up in game, haha.
7. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Hello people, I'm trying to find the following buildings. First pic shows some buildings that looks very NDEX like, but can't find it on STEX (maybe I'm just blind?). Looks like it's growable. Second, these apartment buildings edit: I figured out the following apartment buildings are part of one of these japanese town sets (I have a bunch installed). Not sure which one exactly though. I think perhaps one of SOMY's condominiums or towns. Thanks a lot
8. I don't think that in Sim City, you take on a role of a mayor like an IRL mayor. You are the builder and manager of the city, the sim city mayor, and you deal with stuff real life mayors don't and don't deal with stuff real mayors do. Even if you have the title Mayor, I think you take on a role as either an "almighty" mayor, or as the whole local government/whatever by yourself. Like someone pointed out earlier in the thread, it's what makes a game a game. Sending out firetrucks, police cars, trying to deal with pollution for a healthier city (preferably) and so on. OnT: Yes hopefully your city won't crumble because of some pollution. Sure, health goes down but that's what it's like in some places of the world, and their cities seem to "work" still.
9. Indeed, but remember that the "GFX IS NOT FINAL". I think that adding some more textures and details will make them look less cartoonish. I just watched those demo videos and I'm really hyped up about this game now. Really really awesome how it's all connected. Workplaces needing sims to produce resources, which will then be shipped to other workplaces (commercial for example) where sims will buy them, and I'm guessing resources will turn into garbage among other things, which other working sims will deal with. The water might get polluted by factories and other things, and will make sims sick and they won't be able to go to work, which will effect the amount of resource being produced, and so on.
