Tried to do this with DATpacker but I could not succeed, due to the .ddl files. I even searched for them on google and installed them in the same place as DATpacker. No joy, just the same errors that DATpacker would tell me I would get. -

In total agreement. After my independent research it becomes clear the only way to digitally sign the driver is to use un-trusted 3rd party software or contact Microsoft direct via Documentation. Either way my research on various forums is they are likely to decline the request due to a potential security flaw to Windows of enabling this service. So I have to buy the game AGAIN!! Might be worth pinning this issues somewhere on the forums as I had to dig to find this??

HI After 24 hours of investigation this is my issue. I have just updated to Windows 1909 1 month ago and this update deleted SecDrv.sys. I have re download the file and completed manual signing, however my system, due to windows 10, still wont accept the file. Are there any other options open to me, with a 10 year old CD game version?

Thank you so much that's really helpful. Unfortunately something has happened yesterday after my windows 10 update 1909. Secdrv.sys support has been withdrawn and now I cant use my CD to start the game, typical. Does anyone know a way to get play this game without the CD. Unfortunately its an old CD maybe had it 10 years. No stream compatibility.

Hi there I have played SimCity 4 for a long time and I have a simple question but is not easy to answer. I'm new to modding SimCity 4: what is the essential mods I should be using? I'm thinking rather than being new buildings or cheats, more bug fixing and game play improvements. Thank you for your advice.
