I looked at the screen shots, it's great to see a city that's not full of skyscrapers as so many are. But I do feel that the city is somewhat repeative, it's too much for me, so imagine my delight when I saw the sneak preview pictures of future buildings, they'll really add some variety. I don't think I can wait, I particularly like the Gucci shop.

I've really lost my passion for towers, I know of course when everyone rushes home from the shops with their brand new copy of sc4, all they want to do is build a city full of skyscrapers asap. I've been there and done that. And now the STEX is awash with towers you can build concrete jungles to yor heart's content, now don't get me wrong, some of these towers are brilliant, but there's loads of them. They're starting to get a little common. Anyway my point is, this is a great tower, that I can't wait to have because it just looks so right, if you know what I mean.

Simgoober - It's been four days since your last update, knowing how quick you work, I'm guessing this is nearly ready.

Date:8/17/2004 7:16:16 AM Author:lutjemark The reason that this hotel is build, is to attract tourists who have a lot of money. I saw a program on Discovery on this hotel, it's amazing!!! There are now working on a new project called 'The World'. It's build on sea. Every continent is an island. U can buy one island teh buils your villa on it. This whole project cost about 100 billion dollars!!! can u believe it!!quote> I hear that the Sheike is embarking ona ll sorts of schemes to turn Dubai into the financial/torist/shopping/trade capital of the Middle East. And to be honest fair play to him, the emirate doesn't really have any old to rely on so they're using what they do have to invest in other operations. By all accounts the Sheike is very well respected for being liberal (as much as he can be in the Arab world). He's really developed the economy there and it's quite stable, give neighbouring problems. bbc.co.uk/news are always running stories on the place, they seem to really kiss his arse. One story was about how he paid England to train there before the last world cup (football/soccer*), then sold then plots on the palm (heavily reduced of course) to get publicity for the project and to encourage others who'd want to live near David Beckham and Micheal Owen. Apparently they couldn't sell the plot next to the one Phil Neville bought though Has anyone been to Dubai, I heard the shopping there's supposed to be really good? *Delete as appropriate

Has this been built? I don't think I've ever seen it before. Froggie, please don't give up on St Paul's, it's going to be an amazing BAT when complete.

Where is the kitchen for the restuarant going to be? Will it not need a small chimney vent?
