Originally posted by: LylyCSM So, I have a bit of a problem, folks. I downloaded some mod (or maybe a lot) that modified very large residential lots, such as mansions, from fitting on 3x3 lots to fit on smaller 3x2 or 2x2 lots. This, if I remember correctly, is a side effect (albeit intentional) of the mod/lot, not the point of it altogether. The problem with this is that the lots don't get smaller, they just overhang from smaller sized lots, right into my roads and streets. It's really annoying, but I can't remember which plugin it is. Anyone know? quote> Anyone heard of this?

Renaming the same old buildings.

I've been doing this forever. I really dislike having 30 "Elementary Schools", "Medical Clinics", and "Regional Libraries". And you're right, it helps a lot in finding things. -
@Joshwilko - If I'm not mistaken, that's optional with the Network Addon Mod (NAM). They have different style sidewalks based on density and wealth. So, I have a bit of a problem, folks. I'm guessing those are tree farm plots, or is there a graveyard set that I've not come across yet?

Here's downtown Gruma. You'll notice (in both pictures), quite a bit of unused zone. This is the result of a recent upgrade to much of the roadwork in the area. Hopefully this will fill in soon enough and, eventually, I hope to get a more interesting skyline. Gruma is somewhat disadvantaged in population since almost half of the city is water, so it's hard to get a nice balance of population. For instance, this downtown is really too tall and dense for a city of only ~180,000. Anyway, first, a day view, from the south. And, an obligatory night view, this time from the north and a little wider.

Auburn Metropolitan Area- The Growth of an American Metropolis!

I really like this CJ! You have a great attention to detail and a wonderful history that adds a lot of realism to your city. Can't wait to see more out of this! -
