  3. I have not played SimCity 4 Deluxe in many years. I was hoping that during this time there would be a mod allowing freight delivery between regions. Has this happened and if so what is the mod.

      I assume you are referring between the various cities because there is no mod that allows you to move goods and passengers between the various regions.

      In case you are referring to moving goods and people between various cities. This feature is already included in the game but is enhanced by Network Addon Mod

    I have a disk copy and I have NAM 38 installed. I have a dedicated computer running windows 7. CAM I can not install because it requires patches that I got from SC Devotion and I cannot get them to install. I looked at Cities Skylines and did not like it. My tower computer can handle just about any storage or speed necessary and the details shown in SC4 are what i like about the game. As far as the sea port goes I wanted to bring farm products from farm cities to the sea port city, in real life that is the way it would work. Also the ports don't seem to do much of any shipping or moving goods. If this is the way SC4 works I may have to go to City Lines. thank you and I am going to check out your mentioned sites.

    This ruins an entire way I thought to run my cities. This is all very frustrating. First, I can’t get patches to install which means I can’t get CAM to install which directly affects the game. Now I can’t run the freight as I had intended, all of which means this game gets less and less useful. Sorry but the game seems more of a burden than a game. You have been a great help and I appreciate all you have given me. Thank you Bruno the Bear

    Somehow, I would like the freight to move from one city to a port in another city. Is this possible? Could the port city just send the freight back to the first city thereby affecting industrial cap relief of the port city?

    If I get this right rails are a waste to use if transporting freight from one city to another. Can roads transport freight from one city to another.

    I really like the small roads and the use of rail at the beginning of the game. I think that is is very realistic. Are there any railroads that actually carry product?

  11. I am trying to install CAM and I am told I need patch 1.1.638 from SC4Devotion.com. I am running a cd on a ms 7. I have tried the Maxis patch and it did not work. Do you have any ideas?

    I found the file it is SimCity 4 version 1.1.610.0. Any ideas where I can find the correct version 1.1.638 and install same.

    I am running a CD version. I cannot seem to be able to install patch 1.1.358. Any suggestions?
