this is exactly what i've been waiting for. doesn't look like development has gone too far, though!

Your city is coming up nice! Your power grid is nice, I see your power lines run along the track. Do not ever get rid of them. I will get around one day to post you pics of the extremely heavy development and sprawl along my massive power grid. My main lines for the entire region are half a dozen wires running all together, in a couple different pole alignments going from one end to the other. They are not the only, but definately the biggest alignment I have built. Every other city in my region has at least one area power line going through it. You can download a substation pack to help you make a realistic power grid. I love playing this game, and I don't care what anybody says.

You need to get the official game updates from Maxis. This featured was released a very long time ago.
