Had to be in the Docs plugins folder and not in subfolder or in ProgFiles for my Win2K system. Love it! Toys toys toys!!! ONE THING! How do you turn drawpaths off?

Awesome. Only down side is the subway plopping. I hate that the buildings still show while trying to plop. They get in the way! Is there a tweak or trick to get the buildings to disappear? Otherwise a perfect tool! Looks good, works great and covers all the bases. Just that damn buildings showing up for subway....grrrrrr. These are still the only subway busstops I use and I've tried them all. -

Some farms do pollute. Some use tons of spray fertilizers or other materials that run off into the streams/creeks surrounding. Many farms however, do not pollute much at all. Some in fact, do not at all. But ya, Maxis was done by city boys who think all farms are chemical dumps. Thanks and hope to enjoy this. Good job!

Wow? 2 minute load times? *****? Serious? I've not gotten a million on a medium yet, but that seems awful long even on a big one. Gonna try the packer though.

I'd like the year on the city data popup in the region view. Each city tick along on it's own time, but you don't know what one is ahead without opening them all and looking at the year. Is there any way to put the city year into the region view when you click the city? That would be the most helpful thing I want right now. -
Hah, maybe I should say hi. 41, cornfields in Indiana, US. Been a sim since Sim City 2000 and it's expansions. Just bought SC4 two weeks ago. Been doing 3K for a while, and just never jumped into SC4 for some reason. Saw it on the rack, hadn't bought a new game in over a year, so.... hooked and reeled in, clubbed, cleaned and ready for the pan. And this site is better than the Maxis site, even when it worked. Good work to everyone who's done anything. Seriously! I've so far fallen for the road top bus/sub stations, the SFBT parks and the other modular parks guys, PEG stuff, the improved hospitals like St. Twyggan and another I can't think of, and just so many other things that have expanded SC4 into the realm of overwhelmingly and exhaustively detailed. So, uh, hi!

Question regarding dependencies and lots of custom content

Text file in plugins folder. Each lot with dependencies, I copy/paste the dependency list from the readme into this text file by the mod name in alpha order. Then a folder in the plugins folder called Depends..... When I tire of or just remove a mod, read this text file for it, remove the listed dependencies from the folder, comment in text file, done. Occasionally I check the list for dupe names, and when the rare ones occur, I note it so I don't remove it unless I remove both/all mods that depend on it. Dupe files are impossible. They all go into the Dupes folder, and when one by that name already exists, I check them and keep the newest if one is. Works so far. New to SC4 and all this online forums stuff for it, but I've been messing around since SC2000. -
