Well, what is this? I don't even ...

    * remains silent for a while and quirks and squeeks...

OH LOOK THE GNOME IS BACK!!1!1one

(yeah, that gnome that was hidden in all landmark lots of SC4)

    ----------------------------------------------

Seriously guys, is this the best they can do? This makes me even want less to buy the game. Core feature expansion and bug-fixing, now THAT's what this game really needs, and we told you that a million times....

Good job, marketing! These new attractions make people's cities miniature model plots even more "realistic"...

    Best,

    Maarten

No wonder EA closed two studios in Montreal in 2 months...

    http://techno.lapres...-a-montreal.php

Electronic Arts closes another studio in Montreal

To this effect AGAWI certainly has some weight in the decision.

    Worse for employees

" With the sudden closure of his studio last week, one hundred employees Montreal Electronic Arts (EA) will not receive compensation for overtime they have done in recent weeks "

    Video game: unlimited overtime

I expected something better than a bunch of dumb roadside tourist traps.

    Terrible job.

Where is the Giant Golden Poo statue?

Come on, it's obvious that EA must have a sense of humour if this is the DLC, and if you can't laugh at yourself and all that...

    Tourist attractions, seriously?

They'd look more in place in a kindergarten. :P

They're all rather trivial, and wouldn't really be a major addition to the game. Can't believe this kind of stuff is even being made, let alone to be classed as DLC. Such a waste of valuable post-development time in my opinion.

remember they also featured that giant green thing over a sim's head as a park as a selling point for their deluxe edition...

anyone who expects Maxis to fix this game is kidding themselves.

That's why I thought the minimum age to play this game is actually 5 years old and this game should be played by 5-10 years old kids instead of 13+ teens.

This is as simple as DLC can get. Most buildings on the stex are better than these '' professional" buildings.

These look the kind of lots that someone throws together, puts up on the STEX, and then gets (and rightfully so) berated for not opening a BAT thread to get some advice. Horrible, horrible, horrible!

This DLC is the EA's/Maxis' statement about the new Sim City's target audience: the pre-teens. If there were any doubts in that respect, they should be gone now.

PS. The FB leak before the official announcement is appalling. Marketing through media leaks and rumor mill is just sick in my book.

The whole wide world of AMAZING architecture and they decide to include low wealth tourist traps.

I love you Americans but I'm really sick of SC2013's focus on the small town America Architecture (ie- all the ploppables)

Yay, this even got a forum lurker stirred...

Look at this... then look at what is available on stex. Look again.

Still any doubts about EA not considering us their target group?
