Entry 58 -- Madison Plains (South)

Replies:

Vigilante: Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately I was pushed for space and I needed as many fractionally angled buildings as possible to create that line leading up to Times Square.

Scribosilyn: Recreating New York got me inspired, this included using seawalls and of course using the very best BATs, including Kellydale2003's creations.

Ke|is: Thanks for the suggestion, it does look better that area!

Entry 58: Madison Plains (South)

In this short entry I have more to show from Madison Plains, some of the areas are quite grungy and have given me ideas in the future- where all the roads use Bipin's grungy roads.

Fantastic! Appreciate that you give detail to parking spaces. So many SC4 cities with not a spec of parking anywhere.. lol.  As a former truck driver, I love the dispo centers. Have to ask? is that bat downloadable like that, or did you lot edit? I'm fresh back from a few years hiatus and don't recognize that particular lot.

I use T Wrecks Industrial Revolution Mod for the industrial parking; I don't use the lot editor and everything you see has been plopped in.

Nice work. You really give the available filler pieces a work out, and it's used to great effect!

I love the way that city breathes, the managing of space,  be it for parkings or greens.

Looks realistic and like aerial photos for real more or less, apart from that it´s not, (edit: meaning computer made graphics, right).

If i may (edit: SAY) something that resembles critique, or what to call it, i generally like diversity and if the landscape (cityscape), tends to become too repetitive it have a tendency to become dull, just in one or two of the above screenshots, but it´s one minor reflection but also how it may be for real. But great screenshots.

How do you manage to get nothing but diagonal houses to grow along the diagonal street in the bottom corner?

The little details you have here such as parking and alleys are actually big details because they add so much texture to the scene.  In addition, I don't see this particular road texture used often in CJs but you've gotten the most out of it here.  Nice update!
