Okay folks - grab some coffee and donuts... this is gonna be a long ride (again)... :O)

Tourists flock to Rivershade from all of Mountainview - mostly entering through the south eastern corner... where rail lines and roads cut through difficult terrain...

Rivershade is situated in a bend of a large river. Generations have worked tirelessly to tame this river and shape it into a peaceful flowing and beautiful 'water boulevard'. All its shores were shaped into park-like walkways with trees that provide shade during daytime and light up at night, inviting for a leisurely stroll along its banks or a lazy ride with one of the many water taxis.

Let's start the hike where the big river reaches the town and then just drift along...

The lock serves as high water control during rainy season, when excess water is run off into the deep ravines below...

Great... I was just minding my own business, drinking some nice cold water... Then I scrolled down and spilled it all over the keyboard because this entry is so great. :dead: Now I have to buy a new keyboard.

Just Kidding....GREAT entry though. :thumb:

Amazing town - those parks at the canal side look so charming. And you show us some excellent terraforming work as well! Night shots look spectacular as well

The night shots are very very nice. They bring a nice warmth to the entry. I love the complex rail system you have going on in this town as well. So many details, it almost reminds me of my Pappy's train setup in the basement during Christmas time.

I think I have never seen anything like it - your cj's amazing! I simply can't find the words to describe how impressed I am, and meanwhile so disappointed that I could NEVER do tenth of what I'm gazing at right now. Even my parents (who think SC4's a waste of time) are amazed by it - and for that I think to get an award...

Great new update... and congratulations - your CJ was number one on Ben's Top Ten last week!

Edit: And your CJ stayed at number one this week - well done.

quite beautiful indeed but the probability of a town developing in such a manner is quite rare.

Your track layout is simply marvelous, especially on the first picture (big rail fan, here)!
