Simtropolis Site Bugs

I wonder why some files did get deleted all of a sudden. My Freeway Sign Pack Three was wiped from the STEX and that was after the STEX 5.0 was up and running. I viewed freeway sign pack three in the 5.0 stex and a few days later its gone. I guess I will just have to re-upload it.

When the STEX first opened people were reporting that the could deleate other people's STEX files. Unfortunatley you may have been a victim of this.

Just thought I would bring this up.

I just posted a topic a little while ago it was titled

The "Suggestion Box"

All was fine then when I looked at it a minute ago

It looks like this..........

For some reason the "Suggestion Box" part got deleted. How? was it because it was in parenthesis.

It worked fine at first, but now its blank. Could an Admin fix this so the title reads as it was supposed to at first.

Hello. I don't know if this is the right thread to post this question, I'm sorry then, but when I make a comment on the STEX it doesn't show my avatar, but for some people it shows up. Does anybody knows how to help me?

A slight problem with the STEX ... well not a problem really, more an annoyance. When you upload to the STEX there is a drop-down for you to select a category to place your upload into. However, if you forget to select the category it still allows the upload and does not instead warn you that you need to Select a Category.

I, er, forgot to select one on a number of occasions as I was re-uploading the files that went missing during the transition, so they all started with "BAT > Select a Category"

Usability issue: Thread title appears after "Simtropolis Forums" in page titles, making it difficult to identify pages in window lists and tab strips (over 25 characters required). I am currently staring at a dozen tabs, all of which bear only the legend "Simtrop...". A little quirk with the STEX. When I first log on in the morning I am given an arbitary user name in the STEX when I try to view my own files (to see if anyone has actually been silly enough to download any). It stays that wasy for about 5 minutes and then, lo and behold, I get my real username back Not a bug, but this mornign I was DavidMason (I think), and I don't remember changing my name by deed poll overnight lol

Well, I'm back to copying my post before submitting it.

Why? I sometimes get 404ed after hitting "reply to topic". When this happens, If I just close the window and click reply again, I'll also get a 404. I have to refresh the page before it wil let me attempt to reply again.

Anyone else experiencing this?
