Jcabassa: You can still add pictures to threads. When you click "reply" or "new topic" and that new windows opens it is the link that is 4th from the left. You have the "bold" icon, then the "italics" icon, then the "underline" icon, then the little square window frame is the tool for adding pics. Here Ill show you by adding a pic Here is the button you press to add a pic....(highlighted in RED) Just host the pic offsite, ( i use imageshack) copy the last http: line "Direct link to image" and copy it into the sub-window that pops up when you select the little square box indicated in the image above. -trigger

The odd thing about that is I can see the photos on the other forms but not those two topics which I really enjoy. So could the photos have gotten lost in the shuffle of the move to the new softwear. Just a thought.

Ok I noticed this when altering my avatar/author icon. Whenever I "update profile" for just my author icon it also messes with my html in the "signature" category. If I create a signature link say to my bat thread on the forums it works fine. However if I later update my profile in other categories (NOT the Signature category), then the hmtl text gets all messed up and you get what you currently see in my signature right now. I am thinking that when you update it just adds whats currently in the sig box to what was in it before.

There appear to be occasional problems with the reply count. Some threads show 0 when in fact there is one. Sounds like an off-by-one error on somebody's part.

Not sure if this qualifies as a bug ,but it is an annoyance. But when I open up some of the threads the first reply of the page appears below the welcome back message on the side.

For some reason, carriage returns aren't working (i.e. the Enter/Return key in posts). It'll show up in the text editing stage, but then they are removed when the message is posted. I've had to use the "hr" line break to seperate paragraphs.

See? Also, but this is more nitpicky; could you find a better way to highlight the active page in the page number section of a thread? You use green squares with the numbers in them, and all the numbers are bold except for the active page, which is not bold. This is really hard to distinguish. Would you mind making it italic or something, so you can tell more easily? Thanks.

I've got some problems with the rss, using rssreader, some of them contains invalid data and are not valid. Try to get the CityJournal xml/rss for exemple. It seems to be a problem with some non ansi characters. Btw the rss is a great idea but seems not to be updated as soon as someone post.

Just a little oddity. When I make a post that will cause my settings to start a new page, that post does not show until someone makes another post. i.e: if I have my seetings set to 25 replies per page and I post reply 26, reply 26 does not show on a new page until post 27 is made, but it does show if I change my seetings. Minor problem and nowt to worry about ... just thought you should know

Ok, an edit rather than a new post .... just checked my profile and clicked on the link to my website ... it don't go there ... instead it adds the URL of the site to the simtropolis URL. There's an http:// missing there guys

Forget that one ^^^ I fixed it by adding the http:// myself ... just a thought, can you put a note on that so people add the http:// as I'm sure I won't be the only one caught out by this Keep up the GREAT work guys

I'm still unable to get to the last page of large threads such as "The Massively Gigantic Japanese Gallery", "The Avatar Above me", and about two other large threads. It is just a little frustrating.

Not sre if this was figured out yet or not, or if this even helps...but I have noticed that this problem occurs when there are pics in the thread...pull up a thread that has no pics and it works just fine.  It also works just fine, regardless if there are pics or not if you hide the left side bar.

When i used BBCode for my sig, sometimes its automatically changes into HTML. Then my sig will have the HTML code but not the picture. Is this a bug? or me?

In some threads, the page which is supposed to be the last page of the thread is blank and I have to go back a few pages before I see any posts in the thread.

Oh yes a quick warning, just in case you have not got round to editing your profile yet the last name in everyone's profile is not a forum set way to see people's statoes since it can be changed very easiley. I am saying this as I have seen a few Simtropolis Members profile's say they are Simtropolis Admins.

Well, I solved my vanishing PNG problem by switching to Firefox, but there's still something else bugging me.

I'm not sure if this has been reported yet, but when you edit posts with the WSYWSIG (or whatever it's called) editor, a whole bunch of unnessecary HTML code will come up where line breaks, etc. are supposed to go, which, upon submitting the edited post, does not activate. This makes it difficult and time-consuming to make minor edits in long posts (such as CJ updates) because you have to remove all the extra code.

Everything else I've tried so far is fine though.

EDIT: Ah, never mind. It seems as though this issue only happens with posts from ST 4.0. Carry on.

I can't see the add image button in the W*blahblah*SIG Editor only the Dhtml editor - will the button to add pics be restored?

I also see a gap between the pictures when I try to make a new montage - but the old ones are fine - this is funny as well (esp since some of the others say there are no lines between the images that I see)

The Posts per Page...

In the previous version of Simtropolis - the 4.0 , on every page there were only 30 posts... (on the first page there was 29 replies, and on the next ones - 30)

So, it looks like everything shoulb be okay here, when you set in your profile 30 posts per page... But unfortunetly it isn't...

Look here:

You see? When someone replies to a new topic, the reply count doesn't increase... it's still 0... And that breakes everything... Atleast I see it this way... When there are 30 replies in a topic, page 2 starts, and page 2 should start with the 31st reply...
