Great work all and i tried to load a monrail skin after i loaded hstr but it was still the default monorail

This project seems to have slowed down recently, either that, or there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes

Sorry you need the Rush Hour Expansion, becauce it's a replacement of the mono rail that comes with that (and the Deluxe version). Hurry down a buy the expansion, it's cheap now a days. It's been released as a Classic.

Sorry...$%&^! question here. Is there any mod that I can use to simply speed up the El-Train to be HSR, and slow down the passenger train to act as GLR? probably not, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Im not overly thrilled about giving up my monorail, as I use it quite a bit, but would be more than happy to give up El-Rail, as I never use it. Unless of course the next NAM has draggable GLR 2.gif

Do you use NAM, Network Addon Mod ? It's sound like you do. There is a series of NetworkAddonMod_Traffic_Plugin*.dat files. (Only one should be installed) In them, there is some values called Max speeed by Network for *, which controls the speed for the different network (* being monorail, streeet ect) These can be altered with iLive Reader which can be found in the Modds & Download section (Link in the top menu).

btw: Instead of the second post, you should have edited the first post and added (forum rules).

dude i gave up my monorail in a heart beat. Monorail in my view is a waste of space on my menu. I could easly use elvated rail witch i don't use. So I would give up your monorail if i was you. The only bad thing is you can't make turns with the HRS unless you remove the mod make the turn then put the mod back in.

on a side note... whens the station going to be released!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I was big on monorail, because i dont like the way El-Rail looks. Too um....ghetto....i guess. I'm not trying to offend anyone, thats just my personal bias. However, if the draggable GLR ever comes out, and if the UDI problems with some of the GLR-Sub transitions are fixed, I would gladly give up my Monorail for HSR. The no turns concept is kinda crap, tho. But I do understand the effort needed for it. Basically I'm babbling, but if GLR updates come out, I'll take the HSR to get rid of the mono.

I have no problems making turns with the hsr beta. it just takes some getting used to as the it needs wider turns.

When you get a corner that doesnt look like it fits, fiddle with it a bit and you will see the yellow dragged part go all squiggley; thats when it will make the proper looking curve.

My problem lies with the UDI, the train doesnt seem to be able to make the turn.

Sorry, I have to say that I could not find it (and I moderate forums elsewhere)...I've looked endlessly for it, including scrolling looking for URL and/or links, but saw neither at a glance that seemed to be it.  The search is of little help in narrowing down to a single post (as opposed to whole thread).

It's really quite difficult to locate some of these things.

It would be nice if the first post in the thread were edited to include the link to the most recent version, or if it were periodically posted (such as when a page changes) so that people could more easily find it.

At any rate, it seems a bit high in expectation to not receive a few requests for it, indeed if I had not seen this post a veteran forumer (elsewhere) as myself, I would have asked the same.

His post was far from a " meanless post"...honestly if someone has tracked down the thread, they have done far more than most when it comes to searching out where to get the file.

And for the record, I've been lurking in this thread for more than half the pages (and read back through most posts from there), and still missed it entirely.

Anyway, real point of this post: Can we get a link posted in the first post on the thread to make lives easier for people who want the alpha?

There hasn't been a propor update in ages. So whats the deal? Is this thing gunna get done, or did you get bored of it and walk away without saying anything like EA did to the entirety of SC itself? Theres many people waiting for this to be officaly released, yet not a single word has been said in ages. So, out with it allready, allright?

It will most defintely NOT be in the NAM. It overides a transit system which many people may not want. It will most likely be a stand-alone mod.

So... anyone else?

If you had the first NAM, you had an installer in which you could choose exactly what you placed in your cities. There was also a readme that was a mile long, but was necessary. i'm sure this will be the same way. in anycase, this is a cool project the modders are doing an excellent job. can't wait to see it, keep it up guys.

*edit* @ jplumbly- lol i didn't even notice the rudeness until i saw your post (two minutes before mine, i guess i was typing while you posted it). @LP No reason for the snide remarks from anybody, especially when they are trying to be helpful. If you don't want anyone's opinion, don't post. it makes it comical that you were rude, and SO wrong. look through this thread, it's posted a bunch of times that this is going to be a NAM release.

The reason why there are no updates here is that im still waiting for the path files to be done.

It seems that there are some problems with the pathing. 

And i think its worthles to work any further on it unless the pathing is done.

I contacted Swamper 77 recently and he is on it.
