I'm a tank commander in the US Army but right now I don't have a tank . I've been playing GI Joe for 11 years and I think I want to go back to the academic world.  I'm 34 and married.  I live in Germany. I've lived here off and on for 11 years since I was 10.  I've been playing sims city since my neighbor showed me sc1 about 100 years ago.  If I'm not sitting in front of the glowing screen you can find me looking for mud on my mountain bike.

What a great thread! Well, I'm Steven and I'm 20 living in Preston, England's newest city! Unlike the name suggests, I'm not an international assassin, but studying a degree in adult nursing at the University of Central Lancashire and will be qualifying in a year. My name is Dana. I'm 42 and live in the Dayton Ohio area.  I was a police officer for many years, but had to retire due to a knee injury. So I returned to college and have been plugging away at a BS in Computer Engineering. If everything goes according to plan I'll be back in the real world in about a year.

Well, I'm new around here and this looks like as good a place as any to introduce myself... My name is Happy Dude - not really, but you can call me Happy.  I'm 16 and my current area of occupation is high school student.  I'm taking a course that will ultimately lead to me being a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) but it just started, meaning that I don't know a whole lot about the subject.  I live in Northern California - Bay Area region.  It was Mexicanboy's San Francisco city journal that originally compelled me to sign up for the Simtropolis forums, but now that I'm here I'm finding stuff I didn't even know about!  The reason I'm saying so much here is because I'm generally a lurker and don't contribute much to conversations.  Another reason might be that I have a habit of correcting other people's grammar and that tends to get annoying after a while.  Anyhoo, Simtropolis is teh win!!!11one

I love this site - SC4's gameplay and visual appearance are much more realistic with the mods and BATs I've downloaded. well, i'm almost 20, still student (havent got promoted several times due to my lazyness).
i live in a suburb of saarbrucken, the capital of the saarland (the land of god, as we saarlandish local-patriots say) in the southwest of germany very close to the french border and quite close to luxembourg an k-town.
