Kyle Willey here.  I'm 27 and live in Knoxville, TN (as you probably know from some of my other posts around).  I am a Veterinary Assistant for the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and a full time student trying to get into vet school.  Other than that, I have lived in Colorado and Montana.  I am a big Manchester United fan (no matter how they are doing) and hope to get a chance to get to England to see them play in Old Trafford.  I have been a fan since the days of Peter Schmichael and Eric Cantona...

 

I have worked with people from all over the world in the veterinary community and in the military.  I have friends in England, Germany, Brazil, S Korea, Australia, and Lithuania and know people from many other places.  It's great to feel so at home with everybody here.

Thought I'd say hi as I'm fairly new here.  I'm 27 out of Linden, NJ.  Degree in computer science, but am working as a technical consultant to physicists ( specifically optics / fiber optics / microscopy ).  Used to play older sc and recently picked up the deluxe version of 4 and am seriously hooked.  it's cutting into my guitar practice time, but whatever.

 

Well, I'm at work now, so I'd stay and chat but before the vp spots me I'll go.

This is my first post here... I am quite impressed by the large number of quality maps on this website. I am a stickler for realism when it comes to simulation games like SC4, so I appreciate it when people take the time and effort to build a real-world map as accurately as possible. Last year I created a scale map of my home town, Saskatoon, Sask Canada, and I plan to upload it when I get home from work today

I'm also relieved to see the diversity of people who play games like me, it's good to know I'm not the only adult who never grew up! Since everybody else is sharing their c.v.'s I suppose I should too. I'm a 32 year old programmer, and I enjoy simulation games like SC4, The Sims, and the Civilization trilogy; strategy games such as Pirates!, Tropico, and Railroad Tycoon; and some FPS like Battlefield. I am always rotating through all my favorites, getting hooked on one or two games at a time until I rediscover how much fun my old games are. I'm still waiting for a new version of Buzz Aldrin's Race Into Space

After a false start with a recently self-aborted thread at the bottom of the New Member Information forum, I can tell you that I'm seventeen years old, and I live in Owensboro, Kentucky (it's not very fun when you don't like BBQ and you live in the self-proclaimed barbeque capital of the world). Because I have no interesting information about myself, I will instead say that I am what the kids call a band geek. I play tenor sax (marching/jazz) and bass clarinet(concert), the latter which I can probably school anyone with...

Now that that small bit of arrogance is out of the way, I will continue.

I love videogames to the point that they come before social interaction (perhaps you could tell by the contents of my sig). I've been hooked on SimCity, particularly, since I was given SimCity 2000 for my birthday, way back when...

... and speaking of SC, if anyone knows of any music similar to that in SC 3000 onward, would you mind sending a PM my way with the info? I love that stuff, especially anything from the Rush Hour expansion (I mean, c'mon! Who doesn't love ElectriCITY?)

Well I am 16 and from Merseyside but live in Northumberland.

All my simcity places have always have a North Western tang to them! My pic has a streetlight but also the towers of the Liver Building across the Mersey in Liverpool. Also the city with the first railway!!!
