    Wow! Thanks for all the positive feedback. It's rewarding to know that people appreciate all the hard work that went into this map. The street map idea came to me almost by accident, and I was pleased with the result. I wish I'd made the river deeper though.

    This is an accurate map of my home town. I created it by scanning a contour map, and tracing the contours in photoshop. I also overlaid a street map with 1% opacity so that the major streets are slightly elevated, in case you might want to recreate the city's real-life layout. Hope you enjoy it! I am also planning on creating a city journal in the near future, which will recreate the city's history. Watch for it!

    This is my first post here... I am quite impressed by the large number of quality maps on this website. I am a stickler for realism when it comes to simulation games like SC4, so I appreciate it when people take the time and effort to build a real-world map as accurately as possible. Last year I created a scale map of my home town, Saskatoon, Sask Canada, and I plan to upload it when I get home from work today I'm also relieved to see the diversity of people who play games like me, it's good to know I'm not the only adult who never grew up! Since everybody else is sharing their c.v.'s I suppose I should too. I'm a 32 year old programmer, and I enjoy simulation games like SC4, The Sims, and the Civilization trilogy; strategy games such as Pirates!, Tropico, and Railroad Tycoon; and some FPS like Battlefield. I am always rotating through all my favorites, getting hooked on one or two games at a time until I rediscover how much fun my old games are. I'm still waiting for a new version of Buzz Aldrin's Race Into Space Too many games, not enough time! That's the story of my life.
