Hey all, I like to do a mix. I've looked at the Washington DC Maps on maps.google.com and it seriously laid out in grids. I've noticed I tend to do layouts more closely resembling that as well. I think what I do is make grids although not quite the same size, lay diagonal roads through it and see what comes out. I guess it's kinda a pseudo grid, but I noticed the diagonal roads in my layout get a ton of traffic, so they're probably good at cutting commute distance and time. Final word, do whatever you like. If it looks cool and you like it and your sims can actually get to work it's probably sweet. Have fun Jeff

Hey everyone, Thought I'd say hi as I'm fairly new here. I'm 27 out of Linden, NJ. Degree in computer science, but am working as a technical consultant to physicists ( specifically optics / fiber optics / microscopy ). Used to play older sc and recently picked up the deluxe version of 4 and am seriously hooked. it's cutting into my guitar practice time, but whatever.
