Thanks for doing this. I found a bunch of files which are not in your pocket, after a quick check what is in the zip. I don't have the older files, but I have some recent one from RaV, since he/she was the only really active BATter in the end times. Sadly Jackyll (apparently he is supposed to have an account in Simtropolis, but I never found and Kamil coudn't help me either) never finished and released his wonderfull canal set, now those pics are gone to... 
Anyway, I can help with the organization/renaming folders and building up the folder structure, and maybe in more ways too. It's a detail question, so not the most important part, but if you/we the community start restoring these files in an organized way, could we follow the method what I introduced in this topic: SC4 Plugins Structure Discussion.

So let me know. I try to put together my SC4 Polska files in a folder to see what I have, because it's highly unorganized atm.... I have about 1500 unorganized files atm from all around the world (plus almost 2000 for the LEX exclusively).

Hi!

@Ra-Vnice to see you here. Do you have a list of your files, what you've uploaded to SimCity Polska? That would be a help to locate and organizing your plugins.
I found an other damaged zip, but apparently only the model file is damaged (which would be the most important).

So it's actually quite handy that Ra-V is still with us, because he might can recover this file hopefully.

I checked all the linked packages here and started to put together and clean the packages. In my back-up folder I have already renamed a lot of files or started to organize them last year, when Polska was still running. Also these linked packages contain files from LEX and already uploaded files from STEX. And the Mozokuss files are not from Polska. Those are from LEX and refering to some far eastern BATs. I already found a couple of files what not on the STEX and not in the packages, and I have lot of files which has a counterpair in these linked packages, but in a more organized way with creator names etc... I've never finished to organize those files, and I was on holiday when the news came out about the shut down and when I arrived home the site already was unavailable, so I couldn't save all the files.

I started to recover and reorganize the files from "AC". I don't know the creator's name, but one used this "innicials". I made a picture about the props from the Saturn Prop Pack, also created a readme.txt where it was missing in AC's files.

Also could someone move these files under the Polska Section? These files from @neutralny_506 were in the SCP under the name of Kontrabass.

It's nice that you remember me. I don't play this game actually and don't create buildings on gmax any more. But still I have a gmax scenes and I can send anyone of you this scenes. There is almost all my buildings that was uploaded on SC4. Somebody could export them on gmax and use plugin manager and lot editor to obtain ready building model for SC4.

@Ra-VI'm confused now, sorry. You did upload SC4 files onto SimCity Polska this year, didn't you? And is this RaV Stara plebania Sokolka file yours? Because I saw uploads from a player called RaV in this year. But here is this building. This was uploaded sometimes last september onto the SC Polska, it's called: RaV Biały Spichlerz z Bydgoszczy. Is it yours?

That's right @Tyberius06, I had that file "RaV Biały Spichlerz z Bydgoszczy " downloaded from SimCity Polska back in the days and the name of the folder once downloaded was "RaV Biaêy Spichlerz z Bydgoszczy"
Anyway I wanted to pop in and congratulate both of you @CorinaMarie and you @Tyberius06 for having brought SimCity Polska back to life, I recently shifted back my city style to Eastern European, many great batters have wonderful content available here in Simtropolis but SimCity Polska was a gold mine, some years ago I had a lot of custom content from the site but didn't back it up and had to reformat my PC one day and lost everything in the process, so this "resurection" is a blessing!

Thanks very much for sharing them. Every little helps with the effort in getting all the SimCityPolska files hosted here on the STEX.

Just a minor something I noticed...

After downloading them all for safe keeping, I see the Krakowratusz.zip appears identical to the same named file attached to your previous post. Maybe it's worth editing one of them out just in case they might be mistaken as separate items of content.

Ok, now I just learned that AC is Aras apparently. Thanks to that PGB installer file from @Mika88. I hope I've not mistaken. 
It's a technical detail, but I'm wondering what was the purpose of the PGB team. All the Polska creators were members of it, or just a limited special group? I had a discussion over at SC4D private boards with Andreas Roth about the SFBT files and Xannepan and Porkissimo files on SimCity Kürier. Xannepan and Porkissimo files were given the BSC as parent folder on SCK for the sake of consitency even if Porkissimo never released his stuffs under the BSC "trademark". So my question, when we'll build up the actual uploads could we use the PGB as parent folder for most of the Polska releases (where those are not BSC (Ferox) by default or DaveN_Production etc...) for the sake of consistency. I usually would keep separate the personal releases and the releases in a team from the same author (like MattB's releases as SYM Productions or BSC member or as an individual creator), but we are talking about here legacy stuffs mostly.

I know that we are not there yet, but it's just an idea...

@Tyberius06 I also agree with the idea for consistency sake or else we might get lost along the way... as for the PGB team I really have no answer as to why they were a separate group to SimCity Polska... Maybe we ought to ask @Rav who might know?

Hi everyone,

Would anyone help me with @Ra-V's models, I have a huge load of work coming up and won't be able to render them with Gmax?  

I have removed all models already done and available through our various folders only those that were not present are in the folder it represents 59 models that need to be rendered in Gmax.

@Tyberius06 would you know anyone who could help us to the work? RaV has also given all his textures (roofing, windows, walls etc...) That shouldn't take too long I think as for me I'm tied up this weekend with work...

That'd be awesome if someone around could help... please let me know...

Wow okay, I check around, but the drop box link doesn't work on my side - The folder ‘/RaV scenes and textures/Scene...’ doesn’t exist.

I think eventually the best would be if ALL those original (not yet rendered) GMAX files will get a release under the STEX 3DS Models section, so basicly in the future anyone could toy with those, like anyone could toy with the most of Xannepans Paris models because they are available as GMAX or BATMAX etc... files. Of course IF @Ra-V wouldn't mind such an upload?

That way @Yarahi who's the project leader can keep track of which files still need uploading to the dedicated new STEX category for SimCityPolska files. If you'd like, feel free to upload it to WeTransfer.com which is a temporary storage site allowing files to be hosted for 7 days.

Click the "..." icon to expand the options, toggle "Send as" to link as opposed to email, and then upload the file. Finally post the URL, and I can upload it directly to the ST server if too large for adding here as an attachment. Then being a big one, it wouldn't eat into your local attachments quota.

@Yarahi, @Cyclone Boom, @CorinaMarie or anybody else can we reach Kamil or anybody else who still has access to the SCP site and ask an index or file list with names what was uploaded there? It start getting confusing what files belong to who.
I started to clear the polska files on my end to get the rid of the duplicities and see which zip/rar are damaged. Now we have a lot of duplicate files with the multiple attachments and one of the problems that we don't even know for a lot of files who was the Author. I just learned recently that AC is probably Aras. Also the AC Plac Drzewny is already in the attachments. The first drop box compilation from Yarahi contained that file and AC Wyparka.7z as well and the Saturn Coal Power Plant too.
I'm not complaining, don't get me wrong, rather we shall have them in multiple times just in case, but now we/I have almost 400 files. I guess there are still a couple of them which is missing, but what's next? I stopped organizing the files, because of the lack of creator names my standard folder structure would fail after a point, so either using the PCB\Various Creators or Unknow Authors as a standard folder structure where we don't know the original creator or something similiar but standard/unified would be good. 
But we should make a decision about this at some point.

We can try. Since Kamil did PM me originally before posting the shutting down topic I feel I'd be in the best position to make the attempt. I'll check if he has PM email notifications turned on and if so I'll write my request in that PM. He'd then be notified with an email.

Also, we can create a generic SimCityPolska Team account if that would help while the authors are unknown. They could then be credited to the proper author if who they are is later discovered.

That's actually a really great idea! I would go further and we could collect the files (as a structure) under the SCPT (team folder), leaving the PGB as is. Well, it's a detail question, so later... But the account is a good idea.
