Club Format

Hello to all club users, when I set up the club I added a "home page" as I was expecting to see updates to the club showing up on this page, but last time I checked it's remained empty.

Am going to see if pinning and making this a feature topic adds it the home page if it remains blank then we can use the home page (I checked and it looks like we can add a custom picture or pictures to it), or I can delete the home page all together.

Also as this is a public club we don't have the option of making club users moderators.

But if anyone thinks having moderators would be a good idea, we would have to temporarily change club to one with users and then make @CaptCity and  @pikachu_SQ moderators and then put the club back to public again

Not having ever started or moderated a Club, I don't know what under-the-hood options/benefits there would be in having moderators. But if there were some advantages, I'm open to the suggestion...

Difficult to know, as you and me are already simtrop moderators and I think we inherit our existing permissions, we might need to check in with @CorinaMarie and see if she knows what a club moderator would be able to do

I was thinking the same... You, as club creator, might have more control, but I don't know if a 'Club' moderator would have any more than the site modeators.

I'm pretty sure a club moderator is exactly like a site moderator except their powers are restricted to within the club itself. So moving topics or posts or merging things or editing another's post if needed.

And yes, afaik, a site moderator already carries over their powers into any club except, perhaps, super secret hidden clubs of which none have been created. (CB and I can even see those thru either our admin powers or our hidden secondary web master powers.)
