@redfox85 Yeah, I did that once, I was looking for a clean asphalt texture to match RHW for a custom road rest area, exported a RHW-4 texture, tweaked with GIMP and turned out to be a grey square *:D but it eventually looked good.

Maybe I am just stupid trying to use the STEX search feature, but there once was a set of "tunnels which converted roads and avenues into subway tunnels and back so you could have something similar to Boston's "Big Dig" project. And I cannot seem to find them...

Google's abilities to find rail stations for SC4 leaves a lorry load to be desired....... :-/

Here are two more terminals

And *really* what I was looking for, a nice modern, covered terminal:

@RobertLM78 Here's some that I think you might like - starting with some older styled ones:

ILL Tonkso's got a couple other stations that you might be interested in, if you haven't seen them yet:

Two more stations with a slightly more modern look:

JENX Amsterdam Central Station:

https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=574

These sets by Bripizza:

https://www.bripizza.net/sc4/2905Sta/2905Sta.html#2905Sta_b

And finally a couple more, even more modern:

Hope this helps *:)

Hi, I'm just starting a new city, and this one I wanted to have better rail services (I usually just build motorways and subways etc.

I started with elevated rail, but I can't find a 'elevated pieces' in the lists?! (edit I can find elevated rails pieces but the all have roads under them)

There is a high elevated pieces in the lists!

There's an old landmark I cannot seem to find... the old federal building/post office which had the highway through it... I think it was the Boston Post Office landmark...

Quick question - probably obvious to all!

I'm still playing around with my newly installed NAM. and trying to work out the rail pieces (*there are so many now *is it possible to remove things from the NAM file - things I'll never use, to make the list on the game a bit shorter for scrolling through, or will it mess it up?)

Can I link the new stations in with the 'standard' elevated rail?

On my screen print, it appears not, but I don't know if it works, but the graphics show the blockage (circled in red)

I only ask this, because the NAM overhead rail does connect with ground rail ok, see other screenprint

@adsii1970 How about these:

https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=776

Do note however that they don't actually replace the in game power poles (I'm not aware of any "replacement" mods in the small utility pole style) - you just plop the lots from the power menu instead.

Thanks! These are just the ones I remembered from all those years ago.

AFAIR, there is a mod to reskin the in-game ones, but I never used it. It was never one of those "essential" mods, if you know what I mean...

I need a concrete barrier prop that can span tile to tile seamlessly, pref with a diagonal option... and has a drainage notch like this or something similar.

ae34140fd72f817fc5ccf2e28ba7a63f.jpg

.... I want to use these a lip for a seawall. (The region has prolly 5000 tiles that need a seawall :dead:)

This thread is for lots and bats that users can't find downloads for.  Your questions would likely get answers in the NAM general support thread.

just run the NAM-installer again and de-select the items you don't want (using the custom install option)
just remember to bulldoze the items from your cities first to avoid any problems

These Rural powerlines I used, they seem to function if used right, only disadvantage is they need bar flat ground or you get those black marks !

has_rail2elev.jpg

yes, I've ended up just using the standard elevated rail, but having some new stations in it. I could definitely do with this piece to get it to ground level though, then I can incorporate some freight into the mix. I've not seen this piece yet though
