Nottenne commuter station seen centre-left. To the left is the surburb of Nottenne. All previous stock of housing, with the deindustrialisation of the inner city, led to dilapidation and regeneration projects in that area, culminating in new housing. Manorbia, on the right, remains full of traditional housing, though some new builds have started cropping up as the older stock becomes less suited to modern life. The new skyscrapers built on Battery Point can be seen in the distance, driven by demand for office space as the city becomes a world financial centre.

Further up the line level crossing connects Manorbia with the suburb of Hazelton.

An elevated station on the City Line in the Exeter district looking towards the city's Central Station, where all the outer connections converge.

You could try the MoreTrainTracks mod, but be aware that it may break your save game.

Impressive. When I try this with elevated tracks, I mostly get disconnect issues. I probably do something the wrong way.

New railway station making it three serving the city centre. Used the European Main Station for this. Outer lines are elevated through platforms, the inner four lines are ground terminal platforms. The terminal ones are linked to the regional outer connection routes, the outer ones will link to my local route.  I might have to redo the track layout where I can though. Depends on how much congestion that mess of a railway junction causes. Can't use it yet because Traffic ++v2 doesn't have the multitrack enabler working and I didn't know until after I loaded the game up. Have the separate one downloaded, would explain why my rail and subway routes broke.

Anyone noticed a graphics downgrade? The terrain textures look lower res than what I recall.

Here are some more from that city. For some reason the pics from the two more recent cities Ive done are not showing up in my steam account. As you can see I was stoked to be able to make train yards at this stage. All the blue trains are this city/ states livery. In these pics are metro, airport and regional. The red are country wide inter-cities. Unfortunatly I cant convince Ron fu-ta to make me these sets to run. Any modders out there wanna earn some money?

Not much rail in my city yet (mostly waiting for above-ground metro tracks, so I can integrate all local rail into one system).
This is basically the only line, running right through town:

Wow! Your screenshots always leave me speechless!

I HAVE to ask, because even with all the LUTs and eyecandy I can never get decent screenshots... what visual mods, LUTS, and eyecandy settings do you use for these?

Thanks man :)
I think Dynamic Resolution and the LOD Toggler mods make the biggest difference (they add so much detail), Softer Shadows does a lot to achieve a more realistic contrast, and even the old Ambient Occlusion mod helps to make visuals pop more (despite the glitchy shadows it causes). I also use a bunch of custom textures, which can make a big difference (as your gorgeous Napa Valley map already illustrated). With Eyecandy I moved the sun lower on the horizon to get longer shadows and richer, more saturated colors (just like in real life photography), and moved it horizontally to a position that gives the best lighting for the chosen angle (it takes some tinkering to get it right). I also disabled tonemapping (which increases contrast and makes colors pop more) and enabled dynamic weather to get rid of the cartoonesque, fluffy clouds.
Oh, the LUT is use is Natural Color, and the map I play on is a temperate one, which in my opinion offers the best out-of-the-box visuals of any biome.

I can pm you my Eyecandy presets when I get home, if you're interested - then all you have to do is copy-paste them to your own config file, and they should be available to you in-game.

Ohh, excellent! I use I think all of those already, aside from the occlusion one, which I have but don't use much. I'll have to enable it.

As for the eyecandy settings, please do PM those to me! I'm curious as to what would be the best settings, or at least what you use, since I can never quite figure it out.
