The model looks good overall, however, two things.

1. The repetative trees really ruin the overall look of the big lobby area. Did you use any programme? If so, try if you find a tab to randomize them

2. The glass textures of the lower inclined walls/windows aren't working here. The tall building is reflecting its surroundings all around meaning that there's some dense environment. The glass, however, is reflecting blue sky, this work for the upper part, but not for the base. I had the same problem with Onterie Center. Either, try adding a different sky map or add some filters to the default map.

Oh, wow! Now that looks great. :) I agree with Toothless' comments regarding the repetitive trees and the window map, though.

The ground floor looks very low and flat - did you scale the model to 133% of its real-life height in 3dsmax? If not, I think that might help.

I also had a look at the building in Google Maps and noticed that there are some differences on the roof. I don't think it really matters if your model is not 100% accurate up to the last antenna, but the direction of the lines on those raised parts could be flipped by 90 degrees, and the colour of the lower roof and those two raised parts could be a bit closer together so that the raised parts don't look lihke foreign objects.

The progress from one in-progress picture to the next has been astonishing, though, and I'm confident this will be a great addition to the STEX. Keep it up! :thumb:

Ugh, that looks messed up. I don't know exactly what causes this, I have never had that problem, but the first thing you can do when something's wrong with you exported model is resetting the LODs or import it into another scene (are you sure you didn't change anything since your last update/render?)

    Thanks I'll Try Gamma Fix

"Please note that this is intended to be installed after BAT4MAX v5 and only addresses issues when rendering out or exporting to a SC4model with 3ds max 2014.  If you are not experiencing extremely bright models (incorrect gamma) exported from bat4max you do not need this! "

Yeah you're Right, I'm Rendering with 3Ds Max 2014, Thank you Jasoncw!

If it is only in one zoom then I think it may be a problem while rendering. Check if the LODs are seated properly without leaving the building out of them. I would render it again.

DO YOU RECOMMEND ME A SPECIAL CHANGE IN MY RENDER PARAMETERS? LOOK AT CHASE TOWER INDIANAPOLIS OF SCOTTY222 AND MY MODEL OF TOWER ONE AMERICAN IN DOWN TOWN INDIANAPOLIS TOO, SCOTTY222's MODEL LOOKS PERFECT, AND MINE LOOKS A LITTLE BLURRY. I TRYED WITH  Jasoncw CamLight Rig and Tutorial and changed some parameters, but I think everything looks same!

Do you changed to Classic mode as I told you once?
My buildings was blurry like yours, so Jason suggested me to change and now they look good.

I have this same blurry problem with 2014. Using "Classic" settings did not help. If I raise "Sample per pixels" really high I can get sharp render, but then it takes literally hours for even small buildings. I have not find a solution to this.

Let me say it this way: Whenever I rendered I simply hit the render button. I have never even been in the render setup window. Maybe you should go back to default settings lol (I know this comment so does not help)

Btw, WHY DO YOU ALWAYS USE CAPS

Ah, so it was really blurry. I was hesitant to ask after seeing the previous screenshot because I thought it might just be the JPEG compression or something. I hope you'll get this (hopefully final) problem sorted out!

Also, in the "Global Illumination" tab, you need to either:

a: Select "Skylight Illumination from Final Gather (FG)" instead of the default "Skylight Illumination from IBL".

    or

b: Keep the skylight mode the same, and change the "Shadow Quality" from the default 0.5 to 1.0.

I recommend option a. This is how things have always been rendered in BAT4Max, and it should be more consistent. The IBL ("image based lighting") is used for when you want to light your scene using a high dynamic range image which we don't do and have no need to do.

    Hi Diego,

Just wanted to say once again that your recent releases Library Tower and Columbia Center on the STEX are great.

I noticed that your Columbia Center is "version 1.0", so I am guessing that you are probably planning to make some improvements to it at some point and re-release in the future, so if it's okay with you, I'd like to offer some feedback.

Primarily related to the scale of Columbia Center.  When compared to your Library Tower model, Columbia Center seems a bit short.  To illustrate, here is an in-game comparison between your two models:

    aIGy5gJ.jpg

From the look of it, your Library Tower model is approximately 10 floors taller than Columbia Center.

Whereas in reality, Library Tower is only approximately 4 floors taller (not including the mechanical areas up top).  I've included the image below from skyscraperpage.com comparing the two buildings:

    czwmDp3.jpg

Wikipedia has the roof of Columbia Center topping out at 287.4 meters and the roof of Library Tower topping out at 294.92 meters, so the difference isn't all that much (7.52 meters or approx. 25 feet).

Also in regard to the width of Columbia Center, the Seattle block in which the building sits on is approximately 80 meters by 80 meters when measured on Google Earth.  At 16 meters per tile in Sim City 4, the building would seem more appropriate on a 5 x 5 lot rather than a 4 x 4.  In other words, the building could be widened by a little less than 1 Sim City 4 square tile for more realistic scale.

I know this may all sound a bit nitpicky, but I figured I'd offer the feedback anyways in case you wanted to make improvements.

Either way, I think they're both great models and I'm very much looking forward to your future releases.

Your Denver Art Museum BAT looks incredible. Well done!

I've been waiting for this type of architecture to appear in-game, it's very very exciting to see someone recreating this modern stuff!
