If any of you visit Amsterdam at some point I would recommend checking out the 'Begijnhof'. I believe it's the only 'hofje' still preserved and only accessible to local residents.

Makes me wish we could zone ped paths. :)

I'll see what I can do with the cap...

Once again an awesome asset, GC!
You really have a knack for publishing truly original assets of which I never realized I needed until you put them up in the Workshop.

Thanks so much I was actually surprised I couldn't find any one of these (well I did find one but it hasn't been updated to AD).

My next idea is to make a small substation so you don't have to build cables. :)

That's certainly a good idea. Btw, I use these invisible "Underwater Cables" in order to avoid power lines on water, which are basically just invisible assets.

Love the offshore wind turbine. It looks just like the ones we have off the coast here. :P And great idea with a substation. It looks so silly with cables out in the water.

I like the substation... but I gave up on the cables when I added the "Remove Need for Power Lines" mod that just increases the power radius of power plants to the whole map.  Now it's just pure eye candy.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I've seen the mod, and considered subscribing. However I don't like the idea of no power lines at all. I'd love to see a mod that increases the grid radius to like twice what it is now, instead of magically covering the whole map.

I would like to have a mod that allows bridges to conduct electricity or one that can turn power lines into underground cables by pressing PgDwn.

    Both fantastic ideas.

Published a new LUT which is much less saturated and yellow...

Are you using the "Classic Daylight Mod"? That mod addresses the yellow issue very nicely. Your LUT looks good too.

Nope I'm using vanilla lighting, though I probably should be using that mod. I think this LUT will probably look too blue/green with classic lighting.

    Thank you guys!

I have begun working on some pipeline puzzle pieces, which I'll probably end up reusing for industrial assets. I think I'm gonna make a pack out of these, I just have to think what gameplay purpose they will serve. Maybe jump power + add pipe nodes? Either way I don't want them to pick up ground pollution.

Uggg, I wish there were more mod developers to finish the Network Skins mod. Pipelines would be perfect skins for power lines.

And it would be less work for you, no puzzle pieces...

Maybe have both? I personally would be fine with a simple line using power lines then to have to manage a ton of puzzle pieces. My asset limit is already over 1000 and climbing.

I'll probably end up making this a set (one workshop entry) for now, because I already have 10+ parts and they are <1mb each. I have the straight ones working, accept they disappear from some angles because it's 1x1.

    Screen%20Shot%2001-12-16%20at%2006.59%20

Advantage to current method is you can use them to connect your power and your water grid.

Maybe some day if Network Skins supports it we can put the straight ones on a spline.

Been a while since I last did a regular type building, so I'm chipping away at this large taxi depot.

I intend to fill it with Shrooms taxi cab prop (if he is okay with that). :)

Might leave it clean like this, it's only 400 polys.
